Quirkiness Index / How Odd is Odd ?

How often do you hear the word : Simpatico?
A week or so ago; i was watching _The Trouble with Angels_ that used the line several times,
And then, a day later, on _White Collar_, One of the sub-characters used the word.
This sort of thing happens quite often to me, but how often would one expect something unusual, something unspecified, to happen two or three times in a row, within a constrained time frame?

It’s easy to chalk this up to Coincidence; As it is Well Understood that Anything That -Can Happen- Will Happen from time to time, and It is Entirely reasonable, And Expected that These Odd Events will happen in Sequences that any given person will notice with sufficient clarity to Note them as Being Somewhat Odd.

As The Population of The World becomes greater & greater, and more & more babies are being born; It is Entirely reasonable that Babies with a Particular Notable Birth Defect or Anomalous Condition will be Born More Often.
In Late 2009, Two Sets of Two Head Babies were born; One Set of Boys in Indonesia, that lived for only 5 days, and A Set of Girls born in The Philippines.

In Early 2011 there have been what may seem like a very large number of Massive Animal Deaths around the world. Zoologists tell us that this may seem quirky; But in actuality, Reports of this kind are quite common.
Which brings up a corollary issue; When Very Odd Things happen too Frequently; Do we Greatly Underestimate How Genuinely Odd They are?
We have become So Acclimated to The Phenomenas or Gravity & ElectroMagnetism that it doesn’t seem to bother anyone, Especially Scientists & Physicists, that No One has Any Idea what these Things really are.
( Granted; They have been thoroughly labeled and described, But no one has any idea what their underlying causality is founded on. ( ? ) )
This is especially peculiar when it comes to Electricity.
We have Tamed & Enslaved Electricity to what may appear to be A High Degree of Mastery; But There are currently about 20 Competing Theories as to What Electricity Actually Is and How each of These Explanatory Attempts Chooses to Clarify the Many Manifestations & Expressions of How it Appears in its Various Guises.

Labeling Things does not explain them.

So :
i have been thinking of How A Class of Phenomena May be Used to Create A Spectral Continuum of What i Call Swirliness.
Specifically; The Class of Odd Things that are Sufficiently Rare & Notable, That The Given Observer is Highly Likely to Recall Every Instance of When They Happened, And Clearly Recall All The Particular Details that Surrounded Each Event.

From This List; It should then be possible to Quantify the Quirkiness of Each Event, And apply this Data to a Graph that will Clearly Delineate whether or Not there is a Correlation between The Occurrences & Their Swirliness.

In Other words; Of all The Recalled Comparatively Rare Events;
( That are Not by Their Intrinsic Nature Particularly Quirky )
How many of them Are Unexpectedly Quirky?
How many of them would we Expect to Be Quirky?
After all; As we have previously noted; Genuinely Quirky Events should be Expected to occur from Time to Time—
So that If there were An Unexpected Number of Quirky Circumstances that Surrounded these Events; Then maybe; If a large number of these studies were performed and This High Quirkiness were reported again & again, Maybe they weren’t just happening in a Statistically Predictable Manner.
Maybe The High Quirkiness would be Evidence that these Events were being Constructed & Orchestrated by The Ξ.6 Controllers ( Angels ( et. al. ) ) for some Incomprehensible Purpose or Agenda.

i would also like to note at this time; That just as Astronomers have Created; Ad Hoc, Dark Matter & Dark Energy, with No Evidence for Them At All, To Explain Their Inexplicable Observations; Theologians & Spiritualists have created Daemons, Shadowy Succubins & Ogres to Explain their Unwillingness to Allow that The Meddling of Angels Must Always be Comprehensible to Our Finite Awareness of How The Universe Works.

One Collection of Studies that have already been performed that suggest something like this; Are the Comparisons of Twins that have been separated at Birth, Raised in Very Different ( Sometimes Very Opposite ) Environments, And then ReUnited by Chance Events; Have Revealed Remarkable Similarities. Some of These Resemblances are so Improbable & Inexplicable that to suggest that they were caused by The Twin’s DNA, would be making a claim far Stranger than Insisting that they were caused by ESP!

A Few More Examples :
Someone yells at you for something you didn’t do.
An Encounter with A Crazy Person.
Spotting someone taking a Pee in Public.
Spotting someone masturbating or having sex in Public.
Finding a Photograph or Letter.
Witnessing a Car Accident.
Witnessing an Act of Violence.
Being Robbed or Beaten.
Being Injured by Some Ostensible Accident.
Rescuing Someone or Something.
Spotting A Quixotic Object, Thing or Animal.
A Peculiar Conversation with A Strange Child.
Hear Something on The News that Is Obviously Wrong.

The Study that i am Proposing has to do with A Phenomena that i think most everyone encounters from time to time, Rarely, But not Extremely Rarely; And that is:
Finding Money or Wallets ( et. al. ).

There may be a Sub-Class ( or Super-Class ) of this Phenomena which consists of Finding Curious Things in Dumpsters, But this sort of things is far more easily explained by Statistics, Cultural Habits, Western Economics and such.
You may like to explore this by simply gently grazing through a dumpster from time to time, and i strongly suspect that you will, occasionally, find something that will purely astonish you.

But enough of that digression.

SubClass A : Witnessing Someone Drop Their Wallet or Money.

Finding Money or A Wallet is one thing; But to Actually Witness them at that Moment when They Drop it, That is Pretty Quirky In Itself.

3 / Seattle Washington / Early 80’s ± /
This was a odd, but not particularly quirky, one: i had just seen some movie and was leaving the theater and some guy dropped his wallet right i front of me ( about 10 feet away ), so i went over to picked it up and then for some reason, i seem to have lost him, or neglected to follow him ( ? ) or whatever.
Anyways, i took it home, and this was at a time when i was always broke, so i took $5 out of it and put a magick trick ( and possibly some other bits that were laying around ) that i had in it’s place. The Magic Trick was to put a half dollar in a wine bottle, then remove it.
The other curious thing about this was that while there were several names and addresses in the wallet, it wasn’t clear to me which one was the owner… So i just picked one and sent it by mail to that address.

8 / Oahu Hawaii / Mid 80’s
i was walking over to The Local Safeway, and Just as i turned a corner that was blocked by a building, i saw a guy across the street fumbling with something in his pocket and drop something. This observation occurred within a time frame of less than a second.
That is; If i turned the corner a moment sooner, i would have missed it, and if i turned the corner a moment later, i would have turned to my left and missed it. After all, This guy was completely unremarkable and i would not have been paying any attention to him.
So i walked across the street to see what he’d dropped and discovered that it was a $50 Bill!
This was at a time when i was a street person in Hawai`i and before i was on SSI, so that i had no income and was always broke. So i considered what i should do. ( ! )
The Quirkiness of this happenstance had a substantial influence on my decision to return it. Now then; The Second Layer of Quirkiness was that when i tried to get him to turn around and return the $50, ( Repeatedly ! ), He just ignored me— So that i followed him over to The Safeway where he went in. For some reason i didn’t follow him in, but waited outside and tried to talk to him again and again he just ignored me.
So i followed him for about a block, thinking that i’d made every reasonable effort to return it, but he was just a jerk, So i came up to the corner where he’d stopped for a light, and i came up beside him and just handed him the Bill.
And i didn’t even get a finders fee or reward.
That better have been arranged by angels!
Of course; Was i acting for the right reasons…???
Doing good for all the wrong reasons is the same as doing pure evil.

In this case; he crossed the street and was just getting into a car, when i walked up to him and returned the $20.
Again; i got no reward.

( This story is a little different, but it’s so odd, that it almost deserves it’s own category ( ? ).
The defining element here is that i know exactly where the money that i found came from. )

7 / Seattle Washington / Early 80’s
i was doing some x-mass shopping at The University Bookstore.
This was when i was very poor, and after i paid for some books, or such, with probably a $20 Bill, The clerk, instead of carefully counting out my change, Just thrust a wad of bills in my hands and i was moving along.
When i got outside, i made an effort to straighten the bills out and put them away when i realized that she had given my far too much change back. i’m not sure if it exceeded the original $20, but it was a lot !
i agonized over this for several minutes, But did Not go back to straighten it out.

2 / Ballard Washington / Early 60’s
This may be the first time i ever found anything!
i was sent to the local hobby store on my own, when was maybe 7 or 8 years old.
The store was maybe 3 or 4 blocks away, and my purpose was to buy a kite, but when i got there, i found out that i was a nickel short, so i returned home.
On the way; i found a dime, and reported this to my mother. She and my slightly older sister were angry with me that i didn’t use the dime to get the kite!
The reason that i still remember this, Was because it deeply scarred my sense of morality in that no effort was made to find the rightful owner of the dime!

9 / Pacific Grove, California / Late 70’s
This was when i was a Street Person for my second stint of about 2 or 3 years.
i was staying for a long time in the Monterey & Pacific Grove area, where some years before that, i had attended, and flunked out of The Language School There for Budding CIA Agents. If i had graduated from The Chinese Branch, i would have been sent to Taiwan and spent every day listening to Chinese Radio Broadcasts, Attempting to figure out what they were up to.
But that was water under the bridge.
At this time; i was eating out of garbage cans, sleeping under stairwells, and sitting in the library as much as possible, reading a lot of science fiction.
Every morning, Shortly after sunrise, i would walk a circuit through town, checking dumpsters and outdoor pay phones ( ! These were phones that passerby’s could use for a small amount of pocket change ) for change.
One phone at the bottom of the hill leading up to the local McDonald’s for many, many mornings, had a return change box full of quarters !
i can only speculate that some person would attempt to make a long distance call every evening, fail to make the connection, and was unaware that their money would have been returned to them.
The additional layer of quirkiness is that this happened many times.

i found $5 on an outside skywalk around a library on Some Unspecified University Campus, When i was completely broke, and i would like to believe that i spent most of it for laundry, but i’ve actually forgotten.
i seem to have another memory that may have occurred at this same time, perhaps on the same night. During this time i rarely, if ever, talked to anyone, but i met a young teenage girl and i told her about the $5, and she wanted it, but i didn’t give it to her.
Then she tried to use a Spock Neck Pinch on me, but it was completely ineffective.

Wallet on bus that whose address i walk past on the way home.
The Leading Circumstances for This Event are Both Important and Uncertain.
What i seem to recall as happening; Was that i started out downtown at the local bus terminal, at the end of A Day of My Usual Mischief, and for some reason i decided to take a bus that i wouldn’t ordinarily have taken, Possibly because i would have had to have waited another 10 Minutes or so. This bus that i did take would require that i walk about 6 extra blocks, but at the time, It seemed like a reasonable trade off.
On the trip home, i found a wallet on one of the seats at the very back of the bus.
It was a girly Wallet and full of gee gaw; Photos, Cards, Notes and A small amount of money.
Finding Things like this Fascinate me. i am always very curious about how ordinary people live, So that rather than immediately return it; It was my intent to take it home, thoroughly paw through it, then mail it to it’s rightful owner.
But.
When i got to the street where i was going to get off, i got off with the wallet that i’d put in my back pack and started walking home.
But after about a block or two; i began to experience a truly unnatural compulsion to examine the wallet. This violated several of my protocols regarding things in my backpack. i have a phobic reaction related to any chance of loosing things, that has evolved from my many years as a street person. Loosing anything is a Disaster, So that i have protocols to prevent anything like this from happening.
One of these rules is that i Never Open my Backpack when on A Street or While moving.
i Never Violate these Edicts. Never ever.
But on this occasion, i did.
i stopped on a corner, Pulled my backpack around to my front, and clumsily fished out the wallet and opened it. It was full of junk and the likelihood of dropping something from it, or something else from my backpack was pretty great. But i was undeterred, and found The Owners ID Card. After reading the Address; i looked up and Noticed that The Street of The Owner’s address was The Street that i was on!
Further; i noticed that The House Number was pretty close to The Numbers on The Street Sign over my head. In fact; The House of The Owner, was Literally—
Literally; Right across The Street.
So i went over to the house, Where the owner’s father answered the door, and told me that his daughter routinely lost her wallet.
Again; i did not receive any reward.

8 / Oahu ( Waikiki ) Hawaii / 2006 /
This happened in after getting on a very crowed bus going through Waikiki.
i was sitting in the back of the bus and found a wallet literally Stuffed full of bills. i’m sure that there must have been several hundred dollars in small bills.
So natureally; i thought that this must be somekind of crazy STING Operation, So i hardly looked through it before i took it up to the Bus Driver.

i got on a bus heading into The University District in Seattle and found a backpack under the seat. i lifted it up and looked around, but no one seemed to own it, so i got off near The Crazy Aquatic Park that has several Uncompleted Freeway Ramps.
As a small side note; The City of Seattle, At one time thought that it would be fun to build a huge new network of Freeways, and began working on them; But then ran out of money, So that there are many areas around Seattle that have a Surrealistic Sculpture Garden of Freeway Sections, High Overhead or Vaguely connected to Existent Roads, that Don’t go anywhere.
After getting off the bus; i found a reasonably secluded spot on the grass, and looked through all the pouches.
i think i may have taken $5 or $10 out of it. This was when i didn’t have a job & Long before i was on SSI. ( i did have a bus pass though ) So after looking through the backpack, i found an address, and i thought, i’ll just take it over there. But it turned out that this was an old address ! So i took it back to The University, and tried calling the owner by dialing information, and i almost didn’t connect with the owner because i had so thoroughly mangled their name when asking if this was the so & so residence! But; After spelling it out for the man that answered, i did manage to tell them that the pack was at a specific building’s lost and found.
i think that i determined by some manner that they lived outside of Seattle ?

6 / The Big Island, Hawai`i / 2004
The Oddness of This Discovery is compounded by A Rare & Quirky Event that happened The Day or Two Before.
What happened was that i thought that it might be fun to take a bus over to Kona from Hilo. The Big Island is aptly named, as this trip from one side of the island to the other took all day.
It was late when i arrived in Kona and after turning left, when it later seemed that i should have turned right, i walked for several hours trying to find a suitable place to sleep for the night. Ordinarily; It is reasonably easy to find a church or school or other building with a suitable area to get out of view from anyone walking by, But i walked and walked and walked, without finding anything like this !
Finally; i found what appeared to be Farmer’s Market Area, that was empty for the night, to i found a booth and settled in, but Amazingly; i Night Watchman discovered me and was in the act of calling the police when he decided that i bribe would sufficient to let me go. He wanted $20, but i only had $10 on me, So he Settled for that.
i left and walked all the way back to Kona, climbed up a hill and found an open area in the dark to spend the night, before returning to Hilo the next day.
Then; A day or two later, i found $15 on the sidewalk in Hilo! i didn’t see anyone drop it, so i kept it.

While wandering around one afternoon, i came up to a bus stop, and found a Wallet or something like a Wallet, Stuffed with pictures. Naturally, i wanted to examine it, but before i could even open it, A guy from right across the street came running over and started shouting that it was his wallet!
And then i was thinking; This is NOT his wallet ! So i asked what his name was as i looked inside the wallet, but before i could verify that it was his, he grabbed it away from me and ran back to the apartment complex that he had come from ! But he didn’t run back to an apartment, he just ran half way up the stairs, then sat down and became pawing through the wallet ( ??? )

While walking down the hill from The McDonald’s in Pacific Grove, i found an empty wallet on a post top and for some reason decided that it must belong to a girl from the high school that was very near there. So i took it over to the office, and the girl that had just lost the wallet was in the office. Apparently she had brought $200 to school that day to pay for something or another, and told too many people about this…!
Amazingly; i was not immediately arrested.

i was walking home one evening from ? and found a Wallet and numerous Cards scattered on the sidewalk. i gathered them all up, then was able to find the owner’s identity and called them up. The offered to give me detailed instructions on how to find their apartement, but i was sure it would be easy to find from the address alone. i should have noted their offer to write down these instructions. The Arrangement of Numbered Units was not as Obvious & Intuitive as it should have been.
But i found them anyways, returned the empty wallet with the few cards that i found with it and Again; Received no Reward.
The Owner and her friend seemed slightly not quite right.

4 / Spokane Washington / 2008
After leaving The Safeway on Frances; i found a Razor Cell Phone, Which was The iPhone of that time. Curiously; My uncle Mike was telling me that of all the people that he knew that i gotten a Razor Phone, they invariably found that it didn’t work properly and had to take it back to the dealer again & again!
But this one seemed to work OK, except that the screen was so dim that i couldn’t view it in the bright sunlight, so i took it home to examine it.
i was curious about the phone itself, so i hunted through all the menus and tried all the buttons, finding a collection of pictures that were taken with the phone. A few of them were kind of interesting and i was thinking of mailing them to myself, but i also didn’t want to leave my email address on the phone’s memory, so i reluctantly decided not to do that…!
Then i examined all the phone numbers and picked one that seemed like a close relative, and called it. It turned out to be the owners father, who came by and picked it up, and gave me a reward of $20 !

SubClass X : Events In Which Money Played a Peripheral Role.

7 / Bremerton Washington / Early 90’s
i had recently gotten about $1400 from The Rodney’s Estate ( Ferry Insurance ) and had taken it all out of the bank to buy a computer. This must have been before i had a Debit Card, although that seems improbable ( ??? )
i distinctly recall that i had a Debt card after i’d gotten on SSI in Hawai`i, Then moved to Eugene Oregon for 3 years, Then moved to Bremerton, and for many years there, The banks on The Mainland weren’t offering Debt Cards !!! ( ? )
Anyways, i was on the bus going to The Mall, and while we were at a stop light, i noticed that a woman about a half a block ahead of us had mysteriously fallen down, and i mentioned it to the driver, but he hadn’t noticed her. So when we got to the next stop, i compulsively sprang out of the bus without my backpack, which i absolutely NEVER do, and ran back to where this woman was, She seemed insensible, so i ran over to the car wash, where again, no one had noticed her falling, so i managed, i think, to convey some urgency to these people, pointed to the woman, and then ran back to the bus, which had remarkably waited for me.
Then i went over to the mall and bought a Performa 460; which lasted for about 10 years. Although i got a Virus ( ? ) that so Corrupted The Entire Hard Drive that i had to Erase & ReFormat it, It Was The Floppy Drive that Eventually Killed it.
There was some additionally strangeness After that.
Kitsap County didn’t have anything like an authorized Apple Dealer or Service Provider, But it did have two Apple Repair Guys that worked out of their garages. One was very difficult to get a hold of, and whenever i talked to his wife, She was very Unhappy with his Decision to start his own business. The one that came over to evaluate my broken 460, decided that it would cost a lot to replace The Floppy Drive, and it would be cheaper to simply buy a new ( Old ) computer, which i did for a couple of hundred dollars. The New ( old ) computer was much faster & had a much larger Hard Drive, So i was very happy with it, But i had to buy a New Operating System for it, Because the one that this Unauthorized Apple Guy had loaded onto it was too big for The Computer. After i got OS8 for it, It worked fine.
But; The UnAuthorized Apple Guy said that he would have to take my Harddrive out of my Old Computer to download the entire contents of it onto a Single CD ( ! )
And after he sent that CD to me; All of it’s contents were corrupted!
How could he have screwed that up?
Fortunately; i’d saved everything i wanted to Floppies, And this new computer had both a CD Reader and A Floppy Drive.
And then Although i lost The Hard Drive on It Twice, The Computer itself lasted until i left Bremerton about 5 years later.
One of The Most Annoying Problems that this Generation of Apple Computers had, Was that if you Turned them off, or they lost power unexpected; They just wouldn’t restart, or When you did get them to restart, the memory would be so corrupted that they would refuse to recognize that it had a Hard Drive or couldn’t find it ( !!! )
Gawd! i hate computers !

This case is the opposite of finding money, in that i lost something like $20 or so ( ? )
i was walking down 2nd avenue, along a shady ner’er-do-well stretch and i dropped $10 or so, which is very, very unusual for me, i just never drop money, and i realized that i dropped it immediately, but in those few seconds, a young Afro-American picked it up, and he still had it in him hand, so i reached out, thinking that he would just hand it to me, but instead he said that he’d give it back for a dollar or some such, but when i took out the dollar, he grabbed it too!
And what could i do?
So i left.

3 / November 2010 / Lady on bus loses wallet with 150$, Her life Savings, on another bus.
i didn’t find the wallet, but was only a witness to her telling this story to the driver. The context of the situation was that i first saw this woman with her two friends, i first thought that they were young teenagers, but after a more proximal examination, they were discovered to be middle aged women dressed up like teenagers. They were also chain smoking and seemed ‘Distracted’. The other two women seemed to be unconcerned with their friends crazy situation, and none of them had a cell phone.

Which seems to happen much more frequently than i would expect !

They can save a life or your sanity.

SubClass Z : Odd Events That Consisted of Finding Something Other Than Money.

7 / Bremerton / Summer 2000±
This doesn’t involve finding money, but a newspaper clipping.
i had just seen The Silence of The Lambs and was on the bus heading home, when i picked up a newspaper page ( one sheet ) and looked it over. One the back were some obituaries, and i never read the obituaries, but i was bored, so i looked through them, and found one for a girl that i didn’t actually know, but had seen her around town on several occasions, and i had on each of these occasions wanted to say ‘Hi!’ But hadn’t because i was too shy.
The reason for my interest in her, was that she was a dwarf, and part of what kept me from being more friendly was that she had a really big nose! And curiously; In this picture of her, that accompanied the obituary, was that they picture was straight on, so that it wasn’t obviously her! i was only able to piece together from the description of her, that it must have been her. The Obituary was about 6 inches long and thoroughly covered her whole life, Which made me very sad, As she appeared to be interested in many things that i was !
Then Months later i met someone that knew her and verified this story. Her name was Kayla Khulman ( ? )
After that; i was determined to be more friendly to people that i thought i would like to know, but of course, i have Not been ( !!! )

As Side Anecdotes to this ( or similar ) phenomena; Are two more examples.

7 / Bremerton / Late 80’s
1) When i was looking for apartments in Bremerton, i only really considered two places, as when i start looking for something like this, i usually find what i’m looking for very quickly, or not at all.
And at both of these places; The Front Door Knobs were so loose that you could wiggle the door open, Even if it was locked! After i moved into the second place, i took the doorknob mechanism apart, and filled it with pennies, which seemed to fix it.
i have never prior to or since; encountered this phenomena.

2) When i was looking for apartments in Spokane, Again i really only considered two apartments, and moved into the second again, And both had doorways to the bathrooms that were unusually narrow. The doorway to the bathroom of the room that i moved into, opened onto the toilet so that it was very poorly engineered, but fortunately; The apartment is arranged in a very odd way, being rather small, but the bathroom has two Entrances ! And i use The larger, better positioned on. i would think that the narrow one is so superfluous that at the time the building was being built, they should have just left it out, but due to some other curiosities, when it was built, with all of the original features, maybe it was absolutely necessary ?
And again; i have never prior to this, or since, encountered these very narrow doorways to bathrooms, or anywhere else ( ? )

4 / Spokane Washington / May 11th 2009
i Went over to The Abby's on Monday to give her a Microtape Voice Recorder, So that she could record some stories of her photographs, ( Which she never used ) and while there, i noticed that one of her curlycue Energy Saving Lightbulbs had burnt out. It was my understanding that these would Never burn out, Or; At the very very least; They should last for decades. -- When i got home, within a day or two, The Curlycue bulb in my desk lamp burnt out.

This sort of thing seems to happen quite a lot; Whereas something will foreshadow another event, or simply participate in a triplet of Events...
Things really do happen in Threes.

6 / Spokane Washington ( re : Midwest News Items ) / Mid 60’s
Another Three's event was when i was around 12 or so ( ? ) i had heard on the news that a Grain Silo had Blown Up...!
Apparently the grain sometimes becomes unstable, Too hot or wet, or Swirls up into a cloud of fine particulates, The somehow ignites, blowing up ( ? )
… But during this period of a month or so, there were several reports of this happening, and both prior to this, and thereafter, i have never heard of such a thing happening...?

Another Class of Events that is really very different, but very vaguely within the same superclass of events; Is when i am curious about something, and without having to, or unable to find the answer or solution on the internet or other conventional sources, i will simply overhear someone talking, or hear it on the radio or TV, or due to some quirky set of circumstances, i will say the solution, and at that moment, realize that i have just answered the question that i have wondered about for weeks or months ( ! )

9 / Bremerton Washington / 2000±
One was; i had known this vaguely crazy, very mildly retarded girl in Bremerton, very casually, for some months, and she mentioned on day on the bus that she had recently gotten married, So i was curious about who her husband was; And then a week or three later, i was in the main city bus terminal, and this guy, who was completely crazy, unattractive and disheveled, and in her company, was running back & forth in the terminal & literally screaming that she was his wife ( ? ! )
i later learned that she divorced him and married a much older man.

8 / Ellensburg Washington / 2005
Another time; i had eaten a sandwich from Subway that contained eggs, and this sandwich had made me very ill, The yellow of the eggs had immediately passed right through me.
So then, because this was the only fast food place in this town; Ellensburg, Washington, i was there again a few days later, and i overheard the counter guy talking to another customer about the eggs, which were revealed to be synthetic eggs from a Carton ( ? ) For the longest time after that, i was convinced that i was allergic to eggs, which had never given me trouble before, but this episode was so traumatic that i shied away from them anyways, And then years later, i started eating eggs again, with no ill effects.

P.S.
Another Class of Quirkiness that may be evidence for The Ξ.6 Controllers
( Angels ( et. al. )
Pertains to Nearly Falling Down !
i have fallen down a few times, But i have Nearly Fallen Down Many More Times !
It seems to me that when i start to fall, and My Center of Gravity is all askew, and my legs are slipping out from under neath me, It should be nearly impossible to Not Fall.
How can this be Explained?
The Simplest Solution is Angelic ( Ξ.6 ) Intervention !
