Story: Roar

Commentary

One of the quirky things about my drawing style
is that i never make any preliminary sketches...
This may seem obvious when you view these doodles,
But what i'm really saying is that i don't Think About
what i'm about to draw AT ALL...!!!
i may have selected a photo(s) to work from,
But i don't put the figures into a context until
i'm done blocking out the main objects
and even then, when i move on to the coloured pencil phase
i may change the background in it's entirety.
i may even change major elements after i begin with
the water colours.
It's all Very Spontaneous.
This drawing is very indicative of not knowing
where to proceed towards...???
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Mostly; She hated the noise.
But the indeterminate brown under her fingernails
worried her just as much.
