i noticed as i was leaving to go to Safeway ( ? ) that Jim had a large ( very light ) box by his door, so i knocked & told him that there was a package out beside his door — i could hear him mumbling inside, but it sounded far away & i couldn’t understand what he was saying & didn’t give it much thought !
So then i came back about an hour or so later, & The Mailmyn had been by & delivered another ( smaller White & Blue ! ) Package & so i again knocked on his door & told him that he now had two packages outside his door. Again; i may have heard him inside, but again, i didn’t give it much thought !
am i a bad neighbor ( ? )
Amelia has certainly passed his door several times & it’s Not being ‘resolved’ ( ? )

The Packages were still outside his door; So around 9am, i knocked on his door again & told him that there were still two packages outside his door, & i heard a short gasp or grunt only ( !!! )
But again; i didn’t really react properly ( !!! ) But instead only mentioned this to Amelia & she agreed it was odd that he hadn’t picked up his packages, but didn’t do anything —

i began to notice a peculiar ‘Fishy’ Odor that i couldn’t seem to localize.

Monday / August 17th 2020
i was going through my notes; & i’d thought that i got WeiYan to come over in The Morning ! But it wasn’t until around 3:30p ! Before that; i’d had a very busy day… !
i have two accounts of this day; one in a record just for Jim & one for The Spofford Building; & in one; WeiYan comes by at around 11am & The Other around 3:30; i seem to have a very specific memory of The 3:30 account, but The 11am account seems to fit The Entire Time Line of everything that happened after we discovered Jim ( !!! ) ( this is very odd ( ? ) )
The Major Problem is that after we found Jim, we had to wait a very long time for The M.E. to come & pick Jim up, & that was about 6:30pm. The Timeline for 11am is much more detailed though ?

i just caught Amelia in The Hallway & she said The WeiYan was coming by ‘sometime’ today to check ( ? ) on Jim ( ? )
She also launched into a rant about The Lady upstairs that had a drug overdose ( ? ) last night that i may have slept through — i’m pretty sure that i was up during that period, but i didn’t hear anything that was going on ( !!! ) i’m convinced that my brain shuts out things that it doesn’t want me to deal with !
Anyways; There was a big kerfuffle, but they let her go to work an hour later ( ? ) ( Plus additional Complications with The Lady from ( 1 )- Elizabeth ( that has been getting 3 or 4 packages every day for a week or more ) ( !!! )

Along with Jim’s Crisis; i went out today to pick up some drugs & download The Latest Issue of Fortean Times; But concerning that; i changed my Apple Password The other Day during some confusion getting my new iPad to work ( !!! ) & i neglected to update any of my ‘Password Lists’ ( !!! ) So when i tried to buy The Issue of The Fortean Times; i had to enter The New Password, & i’d completely forgotten what it was ( !!! ) — So i fussed a bit while having a Chicken McGriddle; Which was awful ( !!! ) — & then i seemed to remember a part of my new Password, & a little more & The End, & then i remembered The Middle Part & i reinitialized by iPad & bought The Fortean Times ! i never remember stuff like that ( !!! )

But — What happened before that : i bought a new backpack at WaldoMart The other day; & i threw out all The Receipts this morning into one Kitchen Bag ( forever losing it ! ) — So when i noticed that The Zipper on it was irrevocably broken ( !!! ) i just threw The whole thing away ! i wa so annoyed ( !!! )
But Wait — On The Way to The MailBox i came across an old man that had crawled out his wheel chair & was laying on a patch of lawn, i was dreading any contact with him, but i asked him if he was Okay & was completely unintelligible ! But i was satisfied that he wasn’t on The verge of death, & he seemed to be waving me off, so i left, believing that i handled it very poorly ( !!! )
Then a little while later; i flagged down a State Patrol Car & The Single Officer said that he’d checked on That Guy a ( few times ) that very morning & were unconcerned about him ( !!! ) ( ? )

WeiYan came by around 3:30 & let me into Jim’s Apartment; He was very reluctant to get involved at all; But i pushed The Door Open, it was Blocked by quite a bit of debris & The Door has extensive Duck-tape around The Edges that had to be pushed away as well !
One thing that struck me as very odd was that when WeiYan turned The BoltLock, The Door ’Sprung’ Open a Bit, Not only was The DoorLock Not Locked, but it seemed to be completely dysfunctional ( ? ) ! Then i got to thinking; was The Bolt-lock even set ? What if i could have just opened The Door on Saturday ( ? ) So i asked WeiYan about this; but he seemed uncertain whether there was any resistance to The Lock when he turned it ( ? ) ( !!! )
After entering; i found his body, apparently nude laying outside what he considered his bedroom, perhaps on his way to The Door to Retrieve The Packages ( !!! ) His head was very purple, but i noticed his very very darkened eyes first. & Hairless chest !
Then i called 911 & The Police Came & The Fire-department which verified that he was dead.
We are still waiting for The Coroner i guess.
i went back up to my room, leaving WeiYan to ask questions of The Police.

One of The Police Officers came up & asked me if i was sure that it was Jim, & i said that i was 90% confident that it was him. He seemed to think that The Real Jim, from The Photos they have of him, he was much bigger, but The Body seemed consistent with Jim. He did look a little thin for Jim though.

i showed The Police Officer(s my Knock Knock Knock Sign, they were in taking pictures & i asked if they’d been in The Kitchen, & if they had any idea of what was causing The Fishy Smell, which seems very mysterious to me ! But The Officer with The Camera said he didn’t know what might be causing it !

They just took him away. One of The Coroner people was a cute girl with a Pony Tail.
They chastised me a little for having my camera out while i was sitting on The Stairs.
i could just kick myself for Not taking some pictures when i first discovered Jim, but with WeiYan standing vaguely behind me, he probably would have mentioned it The Police later ( !!! )

They’d originally let me hold it, but they The Police may have thought that that was a imprudent move, perhaps because i was showing too much interest in these events ( ? ) So i gave it back to The Police so that they could lock up The room & then they handed it over to Amelia.

The Account in Jim’s Timeline Journal :
i wrote a text message to Amelia concerning 4 things, one of them was The Fishy Odor, & she agreed that she aware of it, but didn’t know where is was coming from — ( !!! )
Then an hour or so later; for some reason — ( why then ) i wrote another text to WeiYan saying that he should come over & do a WellFair Check on Jim, which would mean opening his door to make sure he was Okay ! ( ? )
Then a short time later — WeiYan called me on The Phone, & remarkably ! i picked it up & i became insistent that he come over as soon as possible ( he wanted to wait until Tuesday or Never ), but i managed to get him to come over Monday & he arrived less than an hour later. This was around 11ish. Amelia was out somewheres, so when WeiYan Opened The Door, it was just The Two of us, & When he Opened The Deadbolt, The Door Lock just ‘Popped’ open, like it was Not Only Not locked, but completely broken ( !!! )
So anyways; WeiYan literally jumped back, & i pushed ( literally pushed ) The Door Open, which i noticed was DuckTaped Shut all around The Edges & there was also a substantial amount of Debris right behind The Door, which i dreaded was Jim, but was Not ( i never did look around The Door to see what it was ), but after sticking my head around The Open Door after i pushed it open about 2 feet or so, i immediately saw Jim on The Floor by his Closet ( his bedroom ) Door Opening.
What i noticed first ( simultaneously ) was that he as naked, his head was dark purple & his Eyes were sunken & entirely Black !
So i jumped back & immediately called 911 to report that i’d discovered a dead person in our building.
All this time; WeiYan was standing there kind of stunned ! & remarkably quiet.
i put The Phone on Speaker Phone so that he could listen in & it went remarkably smoothly.
The Lady on 911 asked if i was sure that he was Dead, & i only repeated that his Head was Dark Purple, but she kept asking if he was breathing, so to make sure, i stuck my head back in & while watching his chest to see if there was any movement ( no ) i also became aware that his clavicles & sternum looked very wrong ( ? ) They looked Squared off ( ? )
It was about 15_minutes or less before The Police & Fire Department came to verify that Jim was in fact Dead, & then The Police had to wait around until The Medical Examiners or Coroner or whoever came to pick him up, & they too several hours before they came, so that that was around 6:30pm or so.

i was rather annoyed that i asked The M.E. People & The Police about The Fishy Odor which was really mystifying me ! i’d Not encountered anything like this before; But they wall gave me flippant & evasive answers — Whereas The Simple Answer ( Discovered later via Google ( !!! ) ) was that :

i’ve been trying to find where i can get The Coroner’s Report of Jim, but The Problem with James &/or Andrew Anderson is that it’s such a common name that i’m getting hundreds of potential hits, even locally ( !!! ) i can’t remember where i found The Report for The Church Shooting Recently ( ? ) ( i can’t find any references in either of my journals for that incident ( ? ) )
i can’t find any anecdotal References to that Incident at all ( !!! )

A few hours ago i checked to see if The Front door was open; to continue airing out The ‘Fishy Odor’ & when i looked down The Stairs i saw an odd Black Form, like someone was wearing a black tarp over themselves, on The Steps outside, & then i heard & saw two women exiting room 2, right beside The Front Door ( across from Jim’s room ) & they came out, so i waited until they left before going down. In this short interim i went to The 2nd floor window & watched them get in their car & leave, & did Not see The dark figure again; then when i did go down & prop The Door open, i looked out to find The Dark Figure & it was no where to be seen !

i talked on The Phone with WeiYan this morning, & he was going on & on about some odd things, like that he didn’t seem to have a lawyer on retainer for The Buildings, or that he had any idea how to handle any of this. He even though that Jim may have already been sent to a funeral home, which seems unlikely, as The Police or Medial Examiner has Not yet found any of this Relatives ( ? ) i don’t recall much of what we talked about for about 15_minutes, but he seemed slightly less chatty than usual. He did mention -something- about Jim’s father ( The Mysterious Andy Anderson ) retiring some time ago, & having ties with The Railway Service ( which he absolutely could Not pronounce ( stutter or trouble with R’s ( ? ) ) ) & somekind of housing or building company ( ? ) & that he’s sent Jim train tickets to come to Spokane ( vey vague of all of this ( ? ) )

She mentioned ( & this seems to be confirmed by comments made by The Police on The 14th ) that Jim seemed to be fanatically dieting in The Last few weeks or Months ( that i completely failed to notice ) — Amelia guessed that he’d lost something like 30_lbs since The Period prior to this ( ? ) i can only mention that when i last saw him ( on The Floor ) he did look much smaller or thinner than how i more clearly remember him ( ? )

But i was napping all day, due to a doctor’s appointment, then i had an Omelet at Shari’s, which really filled me up !

Dear Tinywanda :
I am sorry about the death of your friend, Jim.
I did send you a text message on Friday, but decided to correspond with you by email too.
Given the confidentiality of our records, I can provide limited information about the death. As the death is causing concern among the other residents, I can tell you that Jim was not assaulted or harmed by anyone. He did do not have any autopsy signs of Covid-19. He did have some natural disease processes that were significant.
I hope that is enough information to make [ the other ] residents feel less anxious about Jim's death.

Dr. Sally Aiken Called me back around 2p & revealed that Jim had several outstanding medical conditions, but she wasn’t quite sure ( yet ) what exactly killed him, as she was waiting for test results that were backlogged ( !!! )
Also : Washington State is currently changing it’s laws as to who would have access to Death Certificates; & it may be that because they can’t find anyone related to Jim, no one ( except future cold case detectives ) will ever be able to see it !
But — When it’s eventually determined; she’ll send me a summary ( ? ) of The Death Certificates findings ( ? )
She seemed nice enough.
Also : It looks like WeiYan will be able to just sell off all of Jim’s things in a yard sale. He really should get an attorney to help him with that though. The Police or Sheriffs Department is in charge of that; but no one ( that we know of ) is actually in charge of this case ( ? ) ( It might well be that no will ever check back on it ! )

i was having a conversation with Amelia about something or another & it came up that WeiYan was really bugging her to Clean Out Jim’s room, which is completely insane.
So i suggested or requested that we enter Jim’s Room ( this being my last opportunity to do a photographic inventory of everything in there ( !!! ) & She Agreed.
Amelia & i Entered Jim’s Room
& took 50 photos & removed a whole bunch of Papers from under his Computer Screen.
Everything was in Plastic Bags.
The Heater was ON ( !!! ) ( unplugged that )
There were 3 heaters in The Room !
About 7 Air Purifiers & about 7 Big & Little Fans.
Despite this; there was Black Mold ( ? ) on many of The Walls.

Talked to WeiYan; who is apparently willing to sit on his immediate plans to move everything out !
Despite this; Amelia is still dead set on cleaning out Jim’s room immediately ( !!! ) But after considerably Screaming at her ( !!! ) She finally just left & called WeiYan & acknowledged that he was willing to wait a day or two — But later; She ( & possibly WeiYan were showing their impatience ( after making no effort to find a next of kin for five weeks ! ) with getting The Room Emptied as soon as possible ( !!! )

Ralph came over around 10ish & then David came by about an hour later & we ( me & them ) pretty much cleaned everything out of Jim’s Room, except for some old food items & some other detrius ( ? ) ( Light Pickup mostly )
David left with some of The Big Items, & everything else was just left on The Lawn ( hoping that someone will come by & steal it ( ? ) Amelia said that she called Salvation Army to come by & pick some of The Stuff Up, but most of it is just trash.
The Two Swivel Chairs are torn to bits & duck taped back together.
There are about 7 AirCleaning Devices & about an equal number of fans.
One of The most Curious discoveries was Ice Lockers ( 5 ( ? ) ) that were filled with Dirty Laundry & lots & lots of Socks. Apparently he only wore any given pair once & then discarded them — Although; there didn’t appear to be a Source of Clean fresh Socks ( ? )
There were no clothes hung up.
There were no Books ( Except for a Bible in a Plastic Bag, without Annotations )
The Nature Magazines were in a trash bag, about 6 months worth ( weekly magazine ), but this bag was under quite a bit or accumulative trash; Begging The Question; did he dig through this pile to deposit The New Magazine each week ( ? ) There were no such magazines just laying around ( ? )
There was no Porn ( maybe it was all on The Computer ( ? ) )
We never got The Computer on.
Jim’s Wallet & Debit ( et al ) Cards were Not found, but some other cards were found just scattered around. The Drivers License that i found was issued in 1997 ( he once owned a ’74 VW Bug ) & presumably now expired. So The Current one is also missing ( ? ) Presumably they would have been with his keys & ‘Out’ Pack, but they were Not identified ( ? ) Maybe The ME did take some things ( ? )

Both Ralph & David revealed that they both have cancer, but they were both work horses today, i was Not keeping up with them.
David has Leukemia & he was showing off all of The Sores on his Hands ( !!! )
Ralph ( i think ( ? ) ) has Stomach or Intestinal Cancer ( !!! )
Their littlest sister died of a Brain Aneurysm when she was 33 ( !!! )
Ralph is 68 & David is a few years older ( ? ) ( !!! )
Ralph thought that he was younger than me ( !!! )
i am so tired !

One of The Most Frustrating Element of this; is that i’d hoped to find something Amazing in Jim’s Room; & it just wasn’t there.
There may have been something on his Home-Made Super Computer ( !!! ) But His Brother’s didn’t have The Resources or Initiative ( knowing belief ) that there would be anything of this nature on this computer. So it was abandoned on The Front lawn of our building. Maybe someone will find it & discover what i dreamed of finding ( ? ) !

i completely Neglected to get some better images
of Jim’s ‘Homemade’ Computer ?
It certainly doesn’t look like something commercially available ( ? )
Neither David or Ralph showed much interest in it,
But they took The Gigantic Display Screen that he had set up with it.
i was thinking that i should take The Harddrive out,
But i left The ‘Yard Sale’ to take a nap,
& when i came back ( The next day ! ) it was gone ( ? ) !

i neglected to get many pictures of some of The More Notable Items !
Such as All of The Cleaning Supplies, or The Air Purifiers,
or The Ice Chests full of Crumpled Laundry, or The Duffle Bags full of Socks,
or The Stacks of Paperwork that were all Sealed in Plastic Bags;
From which i Extracted A Telephone Address Book,
Which contained The Phone Numbers for David & Ralph —
That i used to Contact them, Five Weeks after Jim’s Death ( !!! )
i was lead to believe that The Medical Examiner’s Office
or The Sheriffs Department or WeiYan would take care of this;
But they didn’t seem to be trying to find A Next of Kin at all ( !!! )
