Health Issues

My Health - Or the lack thereof...!!!

On the first day of my most recent trip (?) i was feeling pretty good,
so good in fact, that when i got to Corvallis Oregon, i thought that it might be fun to walk to the coast; which on my map looked like about 30 miles, and i was thinking that if i walked all night, i could be there by morning...
After all, i'd walked 20 miles before, and that only took about 6 hours...???
But that 20 miles was on essentially level ground, and this 30 miles, which was probably closer to 60 miles... ( up & down, with lots of curves that were too small for the map to mention ) ...so that after only about 2 hours, and having past a few road signs, which seemed to suggest that i'd traveled only 3 miles, and that it was starting to rain...
Plus - i was in the middle of freaking no-where, and no shelter in sight, i was beginning to become disillusioned...
So i trudged on...
after about about 2 hours, i found a small, 'Riding shelter'...
( a small hut, smaller than a telephone booth, intended to allow someone waiting for a ride, to get out of the rain, assuming that the rain was going to cooperate with you... ? )
So i tried to get some sleep in there, but it was too small, and full of spiders, and filthy...
So i slept fitfully outside, thinking that if it REALLY started raining... i could jump into the shelter...?
So that was my first night.
During that walk... i developed a huge blood blister on my left foot that was very bothersome for about 2 weeks.
( by the way, after walking about another 2 hours or so, after the sun came up, i got a ride with an native american fisherman, that told me the most horrific story about a car accident that he'd come across one time...!!! he was complaining that of all the people that past by in their cars, few, if any stopped to help...! since i would have been one of the people that would have only gawked and passed by, i defended them a little by suggesting that most people, may mean well, and they're hearts would go out to those in need, but we're just to inept to offer any real help...!!!
After all- what could 'I' do... ( except fret helplessly about, and in that paricular case, throw up on the victims...!!! ( the most gruesome element of his story was that a young boy, the son of the driver of a truck, had managed to get his head completely squashed, and this am. indian that was giving me a ride was trying, and failing to just lift the truck off of him...!!! ( for no particular reason... ) ) )

Getting back to my petty annoyances...
So that blister kept me from walking around for the first two weeks, and during that time i was taking about 6 aspirin a day, and they were tearing my stomach and intestines to shreds... but what else could i do... i switched to Advil's but then i found out that they were really no better on the stomach...
So after about 2 weeks, that blister started to get a little better...
and i started having these weird pains from my right hip...
And then the muscles from the right leg...
Then the left hip...
and a variety of smaller blisters on my toes, and right heel...
and a variety of bug bites ( ? ) and such...
One after the other generally... When one would start to get a little better, then something else would start up...
So the last BIG thing was this crazy Abcess on my right knee, and now that it's started to get a little better... It's healing pretty well, after a week & a half, it's receeded substantially, but there is still a dimple of raw flesh at the middle of it, surrounded by red inflamation, but it's so much better than it was when i went to the emergency room at Queens Hospitial, that i'm not at all worried about it anymore...!!!
So NOW...! that that's 'out of the way'...
i've got a cold.
i'm on my 4th day, and the good news is that it seems like 'just a cold'.
What next?
