Trip to The Emergency Ward...!

About a week or two ago, i fell down while attempting to get into some late-night mischief, and skinned up my right knee & palm...! Eeeek!
So i had to applying 3 in 1 Antibacterial Salve to them, and they seemed to be healing pretty well, until, just a week ago, i was in Safeway, looking for some Vitamins, and i knelt down to look at the lower shelves... Because i couldn't find just the kind that i liked so much... and when my knee hit the floor...! Eoooeeeeweh! Mama!
i jumped back up and forgot all about Vitamins...!
So i didn't think about it too much more after that, since it didn't =Continuously= hurt after that...
But then -- a day or two later, it just went completely loopy on me...
It turned all Moogily Woogily...!!!
So after a sleepless night of AGONY...!
( which i don't express lightly, because i have such a high tolerance for pain...
i just recently went to a doctor and had a tooth removed that needed that -- or a root canal, which i couldn't afford...! But that tooth had been bad for like 5 years... and after i got it removed, i was thinking, isn't that odd, that side of my mouth doesn't have that low grade dull pain that i've seemed to have... forever...! )
So when i suggest now, that this knee was ANNOYING ME... Yes! It was painful...
and it LOOKED AWFUL...!!! The Whole knee was BLACK, with a halo of ruby red inflammation around it for about 3 Inches...!!!
So i went to the Emergency Ward at the Honolulu Hospital here... the name of which escapes me at this moment... i never pay attention to things like that...
Anyways... they were VERY NICE and were only interested in treating me, and not ( hardly ) interested in my PAYING FOR IT...!!!
( i had thought that maybe i DID have insurance... that went along with my SSI, but that, i found out, was attached on a state by state bases... and was not a national dealy...???
So anyways... they opened up my knee and squeezed all the pus out, and put a bandage on me and sent me on my way...
That was Saturday... October 30th...
Then on Monday; i went to The Queen Emma Clinic downstairs and had the bandage changed, and the Wick taken out... and THEN they made little bit of a fuss about my insurance not being available in Hawaii, and Made me pay $12...!!!
Actually... i think i could have gotten away with having to pay the $12, since i had to keep bugging them about the bill that had disappeared...
( i hate loose ends...! )
So Wednesday, i changed the dressing myself, and did a much better job ( i think ) than the doctor on Monday... ( they never have just the right size bandages and tape at those places...??? ) so the Redness had gone down substantially... but this is STILL the WORST injury that i've ever had... the blackness has gone down a little so that it's now about 2 by 3 inches and the gaping wound is about 1 by 2 inches, and the hole in the middle goes IN MY KNEE about a half an inch...!!! ugh...!
Fortunately; it doesn't hurt at all anymore...???
It sure looks moogily though!
