The Simple Test

There’s this test administered by Psychologists & Psychiatrists called the MMPI / The Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory.

It is an Horrific Test.

It consists of literally a Thousand Questions,

Which Remarkably, are asked again & again & again.

That is; It asks The Same Inanely Stupid Questions Over & Over & Over Again.

The Same Questions Over & Over & Over again.

Not Slightly Different Questions, The Same ones.

Granted.

There are a lot of Different Questions.

But they’re asked over & Over & Over again.

Whuck ! ?

The Intended purpose is to see if you’re just answering Them Randomly, because as i may have mentioned, they are all insanely stupid.

Plus.

No one Actually Designed this Test.

The Psychologists that put it together originally, just made up a few hundred of The Stupidest Questions that they & their Psychotic Patients could think up, or reported experiencing in numerous, Therapy Sessions—

And then they gave The Test to Thousands of Patients that they ‘Already Knew’ ( ??? ) What was wrong with them.

And then they Correlated The Results with their PreDetermined Diagnoses, & Created A Score Sheet to be used by Less Experienced Psychologists to Diagnose their locally discovered Patients with.

All Very Remarkable.

i have taken The Test at least 3 Times & did very poorly on it each time, because i have a very short attention span, & my mind wanders. If you ask me any question at all, wait 5 minutes & ask me that same question again. i will have since restarted my brain at least 3 times, & i will give you an entirely different Answer.

i have mentioned to a few people, from time to time, that i often say or write things that as they are coming out of me, seem as if someone else is saying or writing them, because they are entirely new to me.

They are often fully formed ideas or concepts that are completely unfamiliar to me. i have never thought about such things, or considered them in The Least.

This is similar to Crazy Dream Imagery, in which Devices, Monsters or Landscapes were clearly imaginatively Designed by some conscious entity; & if they were created while awake, would have taken many hours or days to refine into The form that they are seen in These Dream.

Who is doing all this Stage-Work for our dreams ?

But that’s not The Theme of this Rant.

i’ve been tinkering around with ideas for a New Test that could be administered on an iPod or Tablet of somekind, & it would be very fun & Engaging to take, so that everyone would enjoy taking it.

It would determine your Personality Type, Intelligence, Honesty, Gullibility, Tendencies towards Fantasy Delusions, Susceptibility to Quixotic Episodes; Such as Seeing Real Ghosts, Flying Saucers, Bigfeet or Hearing The Thoughts of Others.

Employers could jigger The Test to see how to best use your unique skills in their Corporate Hierarchy.

Teachers could use The Test to find Learning Disabilities.

Potential Mates could see if you’re compatible with them.

Parents could use The Test to find out what The hell is The matter with their Children.

And The Goal of The Test’s Structure is to Make The Test Very Short.

25 Questions.

Maybe a few more if The Test is Confused by your special Psychosis.

The Test would consist of a full range of interactive Illustrations, Verbal, Spoken or Musical Queries.

If after your 25 or 40 Questions, you wanted to continue Taking The Test, you could go on & On, with The Test revealing more & more about you.

Also; It would be very hard to cheat on The Test.

Each time you took it, it would be completely different.

And there would be lots of Questions that would try to catch you if you were giving duplicitous or Specious Answers.

Are there Questions that All Insane People Must Necessarily Answer in a Given Way ?

Then A More Interesting Problem occurred to me.

Is there ONE Question you ask someone to Determine (x about them.

The Question would be tailored to answer a specific Kind of Enquiry, such as Intelligence, Honesty, Sexual Perversity or Ones Tendency &/or Ability to Murder someone.

The Criteria for The Question :

It must be Short, & while it may have clauses, they must not be so interwoven so as to confuse even The Simplest Minded Person.

It must Not ( ? ) concern itself with any factual matter, such as pertaining to any learned particular or topic.

It must be constructed to illicit An Entirely Different Answer from Each Person Asked.

Interpreting The Response :

The Answer itself is Irrelevant.

What The Inquirer is Concerned with is The Structure of The Answer.

Such that if The Question were to determine The Client’s IQ, The Structure would reveal this attribute to A Good Degree of Accuracy.

This may be very useful in distinguishing an Harvard Overachiever from an Indolent, Under Educated Genius.

More Strange Sensations

More Strange Sensations

i haven’t experienced this is quite awhile, but i used to, usually when i was in bed, waiting to fall asleep, pretending to be a bunny rabbit in it’s warren, that my fingers would suddenly feel much thinner than they were. ( ? ) i would then move my hands back & forth against one another, interweaving my fingers & they would feel like they weren’t my hands anymore. This effect would then last only until a feel asleep, & be gone when i awoke in The morning.

These days i have Tinnitus; But when i was younger, i would occasionally ( infrequently ) become aware of a huge crowd of people talking loudly in The room next door, when this was obviously infeasible. The sound was clearing talking, but i wouldn’t be able to make out what any of them were saying.

The Curious thing about The Tinnitus is that i experience it quite a bit when i’m in my room, listening to The TV or Radio, but when i’m out & about listening to my iPod, i don’t seem to be aware of it at all ?

When it is active;

It’s a moderately loud Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Sound.

Another Effect that i ( rarely ) experience, usually when i’m working & concentrating on something, i will forget to breath.

i will suddenly become aware that i hadn’t taken a breath for several minutes & then have to hyperventilate for a minute or so, to catch up !

Nowadays; i have found that i can’t sleep in my bare feet.

i have to wear socks, because my feet are just too sensitive.

When they rub up against one another or The Quilt, it will produce a very distinctive feeling that won’t be painful exactly, but it will be unpleasant. It is not like any Ordinary Sensation caused by any other activity or contact with any Ordinary Material ( ! )

The Other Strange Sensation is that from time to time, usually when i sitting Quietly, my head will feel like it’s filling up with a helium balloon. Or like a blood vessel burst & my skull is filling up with blood ! i tried describing this sensation to my doctor, but he was apparently unfamiliar with anything like this. i think they may be mini-Strokes, which run in my Family ( A little bit ) & he said that there are Transient Events like this; But he didn’t seem very concerned about them.

They are Not accompanied by dizziness, loss of Attentiveness, Confusion, Inability to use my hands or limbs, loss of facial expression or sudden urination. It is Only The Weird Helium Balloon Filling up inside my head.

This other Sensation is not so strange; But i’ve become completely intolerant of long fingernails. i can’t stand it when my fingers rub against one another, & i become aware of a fingernail on any of my fingers ! i immediately have to trim it back as far as possible, which often results in skin being trimmed & shaved from The sides, which produces it’s own irritating sensation of The skin there peeling up & scabbing over ( !!! )

While i was at The Library a few days ago; i happened to experience a ‘Window’ of Unusual Clarity for observing A Ghost like Phenomena that i see; Possibly related to Onset Cataracts, caused by ( ? - Chain smoking mother, sun in hawai`i, compulsive masturbating ? )

Anyways.

i have been aware of this Ghostly, Double Images for many, many years, but on this day, i just happened to notice that a person standing about 3 car lengths from me, in front of a large white wall, in a thoroughly illuminated area was expressing this ghost effect very clearly. Very, Very Clearly.

And so i noted exactly how The Ghost Image was occurring, it’s position & Transparency, & i wondered, which of my eyes is producing this effect. So i closed one eye, took careful mental notes, then closed The other eye & compared The Results.

What i found Astonishing, & defies any explanation that i may have, is that Both Eyes were producing Exactly The Same Effect !

This would seem to contradict The Cataract Hypothesis?

Why would both Eyes be effected in exactly The same way ?

Unusually Weak Arguments

Weak Arguments
There is a Class of Arguments which may be described as ‘Weak Arguments’ which shouldn’t be.
They should be very, Very Robust & Strong Arguments, but unfortunately; The Traffic Cones that are The Defenders & Promoters of these Arguments have such a Commercial, Ideological, Religious, Cultural or Simply Prejudicial Position Associated with Their Argument that these Contributing Factors, which should be completely Irrelevant, are Fatally Wounding them. ( ! )
The Two that most readily come to mind are :
Equal Rights for Blacks
And Darwinian Creationism & by extension; The Many Variants of Intelligent Design.
Neither of these Proponents are willing to accept or allow for any Critical Statements, Observations of Methodological Infirmity, Cautious Scrutiny of their Position, Comical Opinions, Alternative Declarations or Ideal Reflections pertaining to The Stronger Argument.
The Stronger Argument that should be The Standpoint of These Ostensible Protagonists is Discarded because in these Two ( + )Examples, The Stronger Argument, If allowed to Advance to its Logical Conclusion or Simply Proceed to A General, Generic Structure, Is The Apostate of many of its Crusaders.
Many Blacks absolutely Do Not Want Equal Rights to be Extended to Gays & Lesbians, & Certainly Not to Transexuals & Transvestites. They don’t want Hispanics, Jews, Filipinos, Eskimos, Native Americans, Muslims or The Irish to Share in these Rights of Parity with Caucasians & The Japanese.
The Strong Argument; is this case, should simply & Irrevocably State that All Sentient Beings; which may easily be extended to Apes & Monkeys, Swine, Many Birds, Dolphins & Whales, Octopi & Squids, Cats & Dogs, Extraterrestrials of Indeterminant Intelligence And Future Robots— Should Unhesitatingly be provided with a Broad Range of Elemental Rights of Existence, Of which would be Defined by a Moment or Two of Self Reflection as to What these should consist of.

Classical Darwinian ( Our Lord & Saviour Charles Darwin ) Evolution is being Pruned Away by A Complete UnWillingness by its Apostles to Give The Slightest Allowances to any Perceived; Real or Not, Frailty of this Theory.
And there are Plenty of them.
The Other Horrific Cowardliness of The Weaker Darwinian Argument, Is that Darwinians perceive that There are Only Two Explanations for The Origin of Species.
A ) Darwinian Evolution
B ) Christian Creationism
Just as The Catholics believe that All Other Religions are Effectively Satanism;
The Darwinian Evolutionists Believe that All Theories of Species Etymology that is Not Darwinian Evolution, is Christian Creationism.
There is No Grey Zone.
There are No Other Tangental Perspectives.
Intelligent Design is Christian Creationism.
A Reasonably Intelligent Designer is Christian Creationism.
Any Theory that Questions Survival of The Fittest is Christian Creationism.
Any Theory that Allows for Punctuated Equilibrium, Catastrophic Mutations, ExoSpecies Procreation, which may explain The PreCambrian Explosion or that Zebras have Stripes & Giraffes have long Necks because these Features ( Weren’t Necessarily Beneficial ) Didn’t Kill them off; Is Christian Creationism.
This Flavor of Darwinian Evolution &/or Black Social Parity, both suffer from an Absence of A Viable AntiThesis.
No matter what Evidence is presented to demonstrate an Infirmity in The Dogma of Darwinian Evolution, It will be Rejected because There is No Tenable Alternative to Darwinian Evolution, It must be True. It Can’t Not be True.

As a Side Tangental Aside :
i’ve just been reading ( listening to ) Darwin’s Doubt / By Stephen C. Meyer— Which, in The Early Chapters, is going on & on about The PreCambrian Explosion of MultiCellar Life Forms, all of which were very complicated & well articulated; But had No Progenitors that Resembled them in The Least, as would be expected, predicted & required by Darwinian Evolution.
Plus; All of these Species came into Existence very, Very Quickly, perhaps in as little as Ten ( 10 ) Million Years, from 544 to 530 Millions of Years ago.
Clearly; According to The Evidence Provided; Darwinian Gradualism was Not at work here.
As a Side, Side Note; If we allow The Species Live for about a Million Years Each ( Before evolving into something else ), Then that means that The Number of Unique & Autonomous Species ( Approximately ) from Sponges to Humans was about 600 Ancestral Families. That seems very small to me.
Granted; Many Species do & have Species Lifespans much longer ( Sharks & Ants ), While many have much shorter Species Life Spans, But A Million Years is a Good, Viable Rounded off Average. So that you could easily take one representative from Each of these Species & line them around The Block, with you standing next to a sponge, & on your other side, Homo-habilous, On The Opposite side of The block would be a lizard of somekind, wearing plaid pants.

Additional Notes :

i have not heard of anyone proposing what seems to me to be The most reasonable Alternative Solution; And that is; ExoSpecies Procreation; Which would consist of All these Early Creatures laying countless eggs, willy-nilly on The Sea-floor, & allowing their husbands to fill these ponds with thick clouds of Semen, which would occasionally find eggs of their own Species, & in many cases find eggs of other Species.
Nowadays; Species have rules which don’t allow for this sort of tomfoolery, but back then, Whatever that wasn’t forbidden, was tried again & again. By Simply Observing Abigail & Britney Hensel, The Girl with Two Heads attached to one Torso, You should conclude that this Body Plan wasn’t he First one in The Docket. But They tried it, & The Rules didn’t forbid it, So it worked.
In The PreCambrian Explosion of Life, This Sort of thing would have produced Innumerable Monstrosities that never made it out of The Egg, but in many cases; They did survive long enough to lay their own eggs & maybe stabilize into an Autonomous Species.
The Other Crazy Notion i have about Darwinism, is that Zebras have Stripes & Giraffes have long Necks, Because there was a mutation in these Species Ancestors which made them prefer mates with Stripes or Long Necks, & This didn’t kill them off. It didn’t provide them with any advantage either, but it wasn’t fatal. If Stripes & Long Necks really were such a good Adaption, then you’d expect to see a lot more of them. But you Don’t.
Darwinian’s Slogan Should be; Survival of The Not Dead Ones.

i am on The Fence with Global Warming, Leaning towards EndoMeteorological Causality. ( Non-Humynimal Causality )
When you consider Global Warming There are Several Problems :
Is there any Real Global Warming ?
This is a Phenomena that has been Tending ( ? ) for only a Few Years, Less than 20, when speaking of a Global Phenomena that is usually measured in Millions of Years.
How long was The Last IceAge ? Did Humynimals in any way contribute to that ?
i recall that when i was in The 5th Grade; We were taught that we were ( Now ) at The Tail End of The Last Ice Age!
The Earth is ‘Naturally’ supposed to be much warmer than it is now, & Lo! it is getting Warmer according to The Global Warmers. Is it getting Warmer faster than it should be ?
How fast is that ?
Another Crazy Point is that just a few dozens of thousands of Years ago; There was some kind of Global IceAge Snap, Separate from The Usual IceAge, that is generally attributed to The Slaughter of Countless Wooly Mammoths & Wooly Rhinoceroses, which for some reason don’t get The same press as The Mammoths!
But anyways; The Cold Snap was probably Caused by a Tunguskian Comet or Flying Saucer Explosion that occurred over an Ocean, & all traces of it have now been lost.
The Point being; That ExoMeteorological Events are Far more Potent in causing Ecological Burps than anything The Automobile Industry has contributed.
When you consider The Power of our most Destructive Nuclear Bombs & compare them to An Average Hurricane, Tornado, Tsunami or North Atlantic Winter Ice Storm, The Damage done by our weapons may be more long lasting in terms of Radioactive Fallout, But Gawds weapons have more initial punching power.
It seems natural to assume that all The Cities, Cars, Factories & Ocean Harvesting Programs are having a very noticeable effect on our Ecological Profile, but when you compare all of that to The Amount of Solar Energy in terms of Light, Various Atomic Particles & Solar Dust that our Magnetic Poles shield us from, & Examine The Fluctuations of those Solar Emanations from day to day; These Hills & Valleys of Solar Quantities of Energy & Particles due to Solar Storms & Sun Spots, undoubtedly exceed The Humynimal Thermal Pollution of any Equal Time Period by several Factors.
Plus; If you look at The Night Lights on The Continents other than North America; The Earth is Surprisingly Uninhabited, Such that We tend to think that our local Industrial Pollution is having a much greater contribution to Global Weather Modification than it actually is.
But what is really making The Global Warming Argument Weaker than it might otherwise be, is The Demeaning Attitude of its Champions towards those that question it.
This is very common with any Argument, from any venue.
Each Side is Amazingly Ignorant of their Opponents Position.
This substantially weakens their own assertions in that anyone sitting on The Fence takes them less seriously when they perceive that The Proponents of any Argument are MisAttributing The Arguments of their Opponents, or simply not taking their Valid Points Seriously.

The Argument for Flying Saucers should be much Stronger than it is Commonly Perceived !

"One Uses Inductive Reasoning to Prove that Flying Saucers are Real,
And Deductive Reasoning to Prove that They’re Nonsense."

Inductive Reasoning : Considers The Grand Mountain of Anecdotal Evidence.
Deductive Reasoning : Considers The Incongruity of The Elements of Each Anecdote as Compared with Established Facts & Consistent Logical Assumptions.
One of The Deal Killers that Proponents of Flying Saucers use is that they Insist that All Flying Saucers are One Phenomena.
Given that The Origins, Purpose & Substantiality of Flying Saucers is Unknown, it is largely foolhardy to assume that one can know or even suspect what their true nature is.
The Other Principle Deal Killer is that many very feeble Flying Saucer Events are Given a Much Greater Weight than they should be allocated.
Perhaps it should be a much more prudent approach to give all Flying Saucer Cases a very low Truth Value & merely look for Patterns.
The Flying Saucer Advocates may want a Smoking Taco to Prove once & for all that Flying Saucers with Aliens from Other Planets are Real, But given that we must first assume ( ? ) that they are deeply Alien, & as such, they may feature many attributes that are incomprehensible to us; Knowing or Suspecting which cases are More True than Others is very difficult at best. Given that they may be using technologies that are indistinguishable from Magick, or have powers that we have long only allocated to gawds— Believing The ‘Most Reasonable’ Flying Saucer Stories leads one to Believe The Ones that were most likely made up by Schizophrenics.

It’s my understand that many large corporations & governments have experimented with ESP for many years & all have found that ‘There is something there’ but were unable to provide a thorough enough overview or constraining model to use it to their advantage.
It’s just to slippery.
The Critic meanwhile seem to insist that universities & other struggling researchers that are trying to appear ‘Professional’, are being criticized for not having a complete & thorough understanding of ESP before they can even begin to study it.
This assumption by The Gullible Skeptics is based on the observation that they believe that ‘Scientists’ already have a complete understanding & description of ‘Reality’ — This dispute The Physicists complete ignorance of The underlying causality for gravity or electromagnetism.
There are currently about 20 Different ‘Explanations’ for What Electricity is.
Of course; The Gullible Skeptics aren’t’ admitting to any of this uncertainty; They are like The Man with one clock, they always know exactly What time it is.
The Argument for ESP could be made much Stronger by presenting it more modestly & stop trying to explain how it works by interjecting meaningless words from The Fringe Vocabulary, such as ‘Quantum’ or ‘something Magnetism’.
Bad Explanations are always a deal killer.

Darwin’s Doubt: By Stephen C. Meyer

i just finished reading ( listening to it on my Kindle Fire ) Darwin’s Doubt;
Which is an Intelligent Designer’s Analysis of The PreCambrian Explosion of Life.
This ‘Explosion’ Occurred something like 544 to 530 Millions of years ago, & according to Stephen, It Took place in about 10 Million years, which is an astonishingly short amount of time for such things.
BANG!
The most curious thing about This Explosion, which is The Central Pivoting Argument of this Book, is that There were essentially No Precursory Animals that led into The Amazing Diversity of Life that The Explosion Produced.
Indeed; All of The Modern Phylum ( some 35 Varieties ) which include The Most common divisions of Insects, Lobsters, Squids, Fish, Reptiles, Birds & Mammals, Were all created at this Flash Point.
There haven’t been any New Phylum since then. ( ! )
Just Prior to this; There aren’t any Animals at all except for some very primitive Tube Worms & Sponges.
The Urbilateria ( 700 Million Years Ago ) ( Not mentioned in The Book ! ) was a little more sophisticated, but its existence is mostly Presumed as Necessary, even though their fossils have not be found.
The Great thing about this Urbilateria is that it was a fully formed animal, with all of our usual internal organs & Eyeballs!, Which was The Great Grandmother of all The Other Phylum, which include Mollusks, Insects & Humans.
We know this to be ‘True’, because all of These Animals have The Same genes that are used in creating their Eyes, from The most primitive ones in Clams, to The Crazy ones in Insects & Octopi, And our own.
This point is mentioned a little in The Book, but from The Backside forward ( ? ) ( i.e.; Reached The Wrong Conclusion ! )
The Kimerella did leave some fossils, but it didn’t seem as sophisticated ( a slightly better jellyfish ) & may not be directly related to us.
And it’s not just a case of Missing Fossils that we haven’t found yet— No.
There seems to be plenty of soft bodied fossils from that era, But those layers of Rock don’t show anything that would have been The Parents of any of The PreCambrian Creatures, Which were Very Fully Developed.
They were Real Animals.
Very Well Developed, Very Crazy Looking Fishies & Such.
So anyways;
The Other Major point of The Book is that The Amount of Time it would take to Create any of The New Gene Sequences & Such, Pertaining specifically to New Species from Old, would take a very long time.
Very Long. Time.
Really Long.
A really long time.
Much of The Book hashes over this point, providing considerable ( Redundant ) Documentation by many researchers that their analysis & examinations of Gene Comparison Studies demonstrate that in any One ( 1 ) Case, this ‘Good’ & Viable Gene Mutation Process would take many times The Length ( Duration ) of The Visible Universe to Accomplish.
And of course; Millions & Millions, or Billions of these Break Points would be required, again & again to Account for Darwinian Evolution.
Unless of Course there was some ‘Other’ Mechanism involved.
Like An Intelligent Designer. ( just say’n )
There may be other more amazing possibilities; Like somekind of weird Self-Organizing Principle, which is entirely hypothetical.
Or something Else.
These Portions of The Book were so Long & Detailed that i eventually just handed over that point,
But i was also thinking —

In The 12th Century or so; Many reasonable people would look around them & declare That The World ( Earth ) was Obviously Flat.
Duh.
You don’t have to be Wagon Scientist to figure that one out.
But nowadays; Modern Hamsters have The Same Perspective when we Think about The Probability of our Universe.
Modern Parakeets go to Indian Casinos & they believe that our World ( Earth ) follows a perfectly reasonable statistical model that assures us that at every flip of a penny, it will come up heads about half The time.
Actually, if you flipped a penny 100 times & it came up exactly 50 times, that would be bucking The odds !
It should actually come up 48 or 52 times, or something like that.
Anyways.
But What if our Statistical Reality wasn’t Flat.
What if we’re not sitting on a nice even plain of Probability Neutrality ( ? )
What if We are actually sitting on a stupendously high Mountain-Top of Chance Implausibility ( ? )
This is an Infinite Universe & somebody ( Some Earth like World ) has to be sitting on such a mountain top somewheres
— Right ?
We’re it.
We’re The Ones on this Crazy World that has bucked all The Odds & Created Very Sophisticated Life Forms, Completely Accidentally.
It doesn’t look that way from where we’re standing.
It looks very flat around here.
With The Exception of Homer Simpson, Most people aren’t particularly lucky.
So.
If it then seems entirely ( Reasonable ) that Evolution,
No matter how unlikely,
really can work,
Is that The ‘Reasonable’ thing to believe ?
What else can we consider ?
Let us allow that The Visible Universe ( According to The Big Bang Theory ) is Accurate & Finite in Size & Life Span.
If it’s Not; Then The Universe, Stars & Galaxies may be much Older, allowing for The Following Argument to become much Crazier.
As it is; A Very Finite Time Scale of some 17 Billion years, or so, puts a few constraints on our basic Assumptions.

Life; If it can occur ‘easily’, must have waited a few billion years after The Big Bang before it could have Started on our World or some other World.
When was The Soonest it could have Started ?
i have no idea.
Let’s be very conservative & suggest that it started on another world, on The Other side of our Milky Way Galaxy, At Exactly The Same Time it Started on Earth.
The Development of Life on our ‘Twin’ Earth followed us Exactly, Except that when it came time for The Dinosaurs to Reign over The Earth for 250 Million Years, Our Twin Earth Skipped that Phase.
They went right on to developing sophisticated Mammals, Monkeys, Apes & People—
So that their Version of Neil Armstrong Stepping on their Moon happened 250 Million years before our Neil Armstrong stepped on our Moon. ( if he did at all ? )
They also deviated a little from us in that they stayed on The Moon.
They developed Moon Colonies, Moon Factories, Moon Shopping Centers, Moon Barber Shoppes, Moon IceCream Parlors & so on.
Also; In case you’ve forgotten; In this Gedanken Experiment;
This was The First World.
The First Technological Civilization anywhere in The Universe !
They Then started building Big Ass, Aircraft Carrier Sized Spaceships in orbit around their Moon.
A Lot of them. Like a Car Factory.
These Huge Spaceships had Fusion Drives, but even with Constant Acceleration, they could never achieve a Velocity of more than 10% of The Speed of Light, & they had to Sacrifice that after they’d gone half way to The Their Stellar Destination, to Turn around & use their Engines to Slow Down.
This all assumes that The Distance from One Star to The Next is About 15 Lightyears, which gives A Traveling Time of 3000 Years.
And That The Milk way Galaxy is about 100,000 lightyear across.
100,000, as The Space Parasite Flies, Divided by 15 < 7000 Steps from Star to Star to Star.
Of course, The Actual Pattern would have been more Tree or Bush Like.
So that it took them a long time, a very long time to travel from their Home World to The Next Star(s over.
They didn’t go there to look around & come back, No, They went there to Stay, Forever.
They were Colonizing other Star Systems.
And Once they’d found an inhabitable Planet or Nice Moon or Whatever to live on, they’d make a Next Generation of Star Ships & Send them out on The Next Wave of Colonizations, & Send back lots of pictures to their Home World & The Other Colonies.
7000 x 3000 + 200 < 23 Million Years.
Even though this was taking a very long time to get from one star to The Next, & they’d have to wait about 200 years to really establish themselves on their New World before making The Next Wave of Spaceships; This Scheme still allowed them to Completely Colonize The MilkyWay Galaxy in Less than 23 Million years ( !!! )

If you allow that they were never able to go faster than 1% The Speed of Light; It would take them 50 Million Years.
Which means that they would have gotten to our Earth when The Dinosaurs were still preadolescents.
If you change The Variables all around; It’s much more likely that they would have gotten ‘Here’ much earlier, or if you allow that they had Faster than Light Spaceships, they could have started out from any Galaxy in The Universe.
Or if The Big Bang Theory is Inaccurate; They could have started out Billions of years ago.
Or if they Jumped to this Visible Universe from some other Visible Universe, that again would have given them a huge lead time.
Or.
We are The First Civilization.
There is a very good Argument to be made that Life is Very, Very Improbable, or if Not, Then rising to An Intelligent Species is Very Improbable, or if they get past that, Developing into a Technological Civilization & Not Destroying yourself before you begin Colonizing other Star Systems is very Improbable.
If Life is at all ‘Easy’, Then We most Certainly are not The First Civilization, & If we’re Not, then we are most certainly a Colony or Experiment of A Colony from The First Civilization.
That explains DNA very Elegantly.
