Light Anomalies

There are two Light Anomalies
that i've been experiencing lately...
.
One:
This one has been happening to me ever since i started wearing glasses,
and it occurs very infrequently... But around a dozen or so times in the last 5 years.
The circumstances of this anomalie is that i will be sitting, and usually looking down at some piece of work i'm doing, and i will notice a 'light blob' or 'necklace of light blobs' tranverse my field of vision,
usually; exactly horizontally, rarely vertically, never diagonally--
It's apparently a reflection that occurs on the surface of the lens; on my glasses.
The thing is; What makes it anomalous, is that there is nothing around me that could account for this...
The other day it happened outdoors, so there is a considerable amount of unaccounted for phenomena around me-- But nothing that would immediately explain the light.
In times past; This phenomena would occur ( more frequently ) in my room, where there was nothing that could even come close to explaining where the reflected, primary object, was located.
On several occasions i tried to reproduce the effect; without success.

Two:
The place that i sleep at night is A Porch in the middle of a long building, with no lights along the side that i sleep on. [ Except for a timed, proximity activated porchlight that during this phenomena is never activated. ]
On the opposite side, facing this side of The Building, is A Ravine approximately 20 yards wide, filled with heavy vegetation.
On the other side of that is a park, which features many bright lights over a baseball field and throughout the park.
On the other side of The Building is a busy thoroughfare.
The Building is solid, and light from the cars can not penetrate the upper rooms...
But-- The Building is constructed with a 1 1/2 to 2 foot space beneath it, from which, the head lights of cars easily penetrate to the side that i occupy.
O.K.
So the lights from the cars can frequently be seen; causing a multitude of curious shadows and shapes that play on the side of A Shed several feet from The Main Building, and all along the vegetation leading into the ravine.
The Anomalous Phenomena is the rare occurance of A Very Bright Spot, that Flashes along The Top of The Shed, just under the awning, taking on different shapes, and occuring all along this strip under the awning.
It is much to bright to be compared to any of the lights coming from the car's headlights, which are usually very dim, considering distance and their pathways.
The Bright Spots are also directly on the opposite side of The Shed, from The Park's Lights.
There is also nothing that could account for the lights coming from anything along either side of the building, perpendicular to The Building, and perpendicular to The Shed's side where these Lights are occurring.

Broken Bee...!!!

Weird Broken Bee...!!!

i think you can see from this picture that this bee is broken...!!!
Also that it's a really Big Bee...!!!
When i was here in Hawai'i the first time;
Back around 1986-7 and so on...
i had come across a kind of bee that was Entirely Black,
Like this one--
But it also had Wings that looked like they were stamped out of Copper Foil...!!!
i haven't seen any more bees like that-- this time around...
One really curious thing about This Bee...
Is that despite it's Very Broken Wings...!!!
It was actually able to fly pretty well...!!!
REALLY...!!!
It wasn't extremely excellent flying,
But it was off the ground, flying around for a minute at a time, flying...!!!
Bee's are supposed to be barely able to fly to begin with,
And this one barely has any wings at all...!!!
And how did they get all broken up like that...???

Speaking of Weird Insects...
When i was living in Bremertowne,
i'd come across these Giant Ants...!!!
...From time to time...
Then i heard on Art Bell that there was a Beetle in California that looked Just Like an Ant...!!!
Which seemed perfectly consistent with These Giant Ants that i was seeing...
Because-- Although they Looked Just Like Giant Ants...!!!
They were always by themselves...!
That is:
They were always seen Individually,
Not in Groups, which is the usual Modus Operenti for Ants...!!!
Why would a Beetle Evolve to look just like an Ant...???

New Wiggly Cycle Beginning...???

Maybe it's not just beginning now...
Maybe it's been cooking up for awhile...

1. i have A New Owie...!!!
   It is on my right forearm and it started at about 2:00am on April 2nd!
   i woke up to discover a White Blister on that spot, and it looked like a White Eraser in size and shape...??? So i popped it, because it was annoying me, and i didn't really think too much as to what it was, or where it came from... But then, almost immediately afterwards, i got to thinking... 'i should put some 3 in 1 Antibiotic salve on it', so i did.
   But the next day, or so, it 'Blew Up' and then a day after that, i decided to put a bandage on it, and i was also thinking that i really should 'Dig it out'...! But i didn't because it was really hurting alot... and The Bolus was really snuggled in there...!!!
   Then i was going to just 'Leave it alone' for awhile, and see how long it took to heal, without getting any perscription antibiotics for it...!!!???
   But then; Sunday ( April 9 ) i noticed that i was leaking pus quite a bit, so i took the bandage off; and the brown, sickly pus fountained out of it, and with just a little squeezing, LOTS MORE pus flowed out this HUGE hole in my arm.
   Ugh.
   So; after i squeezed most of the pus out, i noticed that the Bolus looked 'Loose', so i decided to dig it out with Tweezers...!!!
   Owie, Owie, Owie...!!!
   The Bolus had the colour and consistency of Butterscotch Pudding, so it was pretty hard to get a grip on it...!!! i was also using some Q-tips, With which i was able to fit the whole head of them into the Hole...!!!
   How can it do that...!!! There is supposed to be Muscles and Nerves and Arteries in there...!!! How can my hand still work...???
   Ugh, and Ugh.
   Owie, Owie, Owie...!!!
   i think i got most of The Bolus out, which i think is The POISON from Whatever it was that Bit me, surrounded by Dead White-Corpusceles...???
   Then i filled it with Iodine, and poured that out, and filled it with 3 in 1 Antibiotic Salve and put a new bandange on it.'
   It doesn't hurt quite as much as it did the other day, and/or/but -- it is still leaking, but i think it is leaking blood now, and not pus. i think i would rather have it leaking blood than pus...???
   
2. i went over to check my mail today...
   i'm expecting a letter from Marc Calvary that is supposed to have sent me $40 from The 'Show' in Portland... and i have going AROUND AND AROUND over this...!!! It is making me COMPLETELY CRAZY...!!! Because i am NOT supposed to have any 'Extra' Income from my SSI...!!! They will not allow me to keep 5¢ more than what they send me...!!!
   i think that is CRAZY...!!! What incentive am i supposed to have to get a job and work my way out of this, if they just take everything that i earn away from me...!!!
   Or if my aunt sends me $10 for Chrstmsa or my Birthday... They take that away from me too...!!! [ Does that sound EVIL to you...!!! ??? ]
   And it's not like i'm getting extremely wealthy...!!!
   i get $600 from them, and the cheapest studio apartments around here are like $1500...!!!
   ugh.
   But if i don't report it, and hand it over ( or they deduct it ) then i'm afraid someone will yell at me...!!! i hate getting yelled at...!!!
   PLUS-- They won't just settle for me telling them that i've 'Earned' $40 from this Show in Portland, they won't take my word for it that it's $40...!!! They'll demand Complete Documentation for it...!!! i don't have any documentation for it...!!!
   When i reported that i'd gotten some money one chrstmsa, they made me write to my mom and aunt, and they had to send Certified Receipts for the money that they'd sent me...!!! [ It sounds too CRAZY to Believe doesn't it...!!! You can call and ask them about this yourself...!!! The Number is: 1-800-772-1213 ]
   And another thing...!!! i was over at the office awhile ago about something or another...??? and the worker there just spontaniously mentioned that if i did find someplace to live, and it was below 'The Market Value' -- Such as if i moved in with a relative or something, and didn't pay a full rental amount... They would slash the amount that they do send me, because it would no longer 'Be in Need'... !!! ( ??? )
   They just tell me these things to torment me.
   So anyways- it hasn't come yet...!!!
   
3. But while i was over at the mailbox place, ( Postal Connection of Kapolei ) i discovered an OVERDUE Notice in my box...!!! It was over-due way back in February...!!! But she didn't remind me about it until NOW... and so i think i had to pay a bunch of penalities...???
   It was hard to be sure, because she was even harder to understand today than she usually is...??? ( i think she's natively Korean...??? )
   But the fee to cover it until July 18th was $76... and it seems to me that it was ALOT cheaper last time, when i originally got it...???
   i was just checking my Checking Balance this morning, and i was thinking, well; $112 should be enough to get me through this month... and now that's been Wiped Out...!!!
   ugh.
   
4. It looks like the rain is finally overwith...???
   There was a 'Letter to the Editor' from some Geezer that was around in '58 when Hawaii had it's last 'Big' Rainy Season, and he was saying that; "You think this was rainy...! HA! Back in '58, we had 17_inches in 24 hours... This time; it took a whole month to accumulate 17_inches...!"
   But it's still pretty cloudy... it's not exactly back to weather as usual... And plus; All the rain brought a whole bunch of Mosquitoes & Gnats... And FLESH EATING BACTERIA...!!! Several of the beaches are closed due to this Man Eating Bacteria...!!!
   The kind that i have on my arm looks pretty OOGY... But it's Localized...???
   i don't understand how it could be Localized though...??? Why doesn't it just stream through my blood...??? ( ??? )
   
5. Around the beginning of the month ( April ) or a few days before that...??? My Left foot started ( Suddenly ) Hurting like CRAZY...!!! Like it was full of broken Glass or somesuch...??? And that lasted for about a week, and now it's back to it's 'Usual' amount of pain... just around the toes...??? The weird thing was, it didn't look at all injured... They never do...!!! The Owies on my legs and arms always LOOK like Serious Owies... But my Feet always look FINE... But hurt all the time...!!! ( ??? ) ( Maybe they're a little puffy...??? )
   
6. Good News! My poops have been looking really healthy the last two times...!!!
   
7. Partial Book Report:
   i didn't actually read the whole book: The Stupidest Angel by Christopher Moore...
   And Another Book that is kind of like it-- Magic for Beginners by Kelly Link...
   That i did read all the way through...
   Both of these books were started on the premise that they were 'Quirky' writers...!
   Moore has the dullest style... He apparently just wrote a fairly dull and ordinary story, and then went back and took all the adjectives and 'spiced them up' which is the sole attribute of his quirkiness...! The story itself is as plain as paste.
   Kelly Link has a fun and easy to read writing style and her stories contain lots of quirky and fun detailing... But they go on and on, without going in any particular direction...! Then as most of her critics have mentioned; they end with a twist. i think that that 'twisted' endings are a direct consequence of her not knowing where the story was ever going, but that she needed to end it after so many pages; perhaps because she'd exhausted all the ideas she had for that narative... and so; she simply turned the story line off in a perpendicular direction and stopped typing.
   The book i'm reading now is; Terry Bisson's The Upper Room, and other likely stories.
   This is also a quirky collection of short stories, and he does some things that i would normally think of as very annoying, but he seems to pull them off; such as repeating lines or catch phrases, over and over and over again...???!!! The stories are very imaginative and easy to read... But although i'm only 2/3's of the way through this first book of his, they are beginning to seem just a tad formulistic...???
   But still; i'm planning on following this up with Numbers Don't Lie... and Bears Discover Fire... if i can find it...???
   Then i'd also like to find Link's Stranger Things Happen... which the library doesn't have either...!

Rain, Rain, Rain...!!!

1. It's been raining, pretty much, non-stop here along the Hawai'ian islands for some 3 weeks...
   Torrentially so in many places...
   We're supposed to get around 1 1/2 inches this month, and have gotten nearly 12...!
   Amazingly; we are only up by 200% for the year so far...
   Usually; Torrential rain around here will come on very quickly, dump a huge amount of rain, and then go away...
   When i was here several years ago, a huge tropical rain storm tore out a bunch of streets in the hills and then when i first came here last year, there was a big storm that flooded the library's basement at the local university... destroying a few billion dollars worth of rare documents...!!!
   But this last storm has lasted for such a long time that these sorts of things just keep happening and happening... A damn has broken, sewage has been overflowing, roads are being torn up, the ground everywhere has turned to mush... and i can't get my socks to dry out.
   It is making me very crazy.
2. i added a bunch of new pictures to the Picoans section, and although they're not 'sized' very well...
   ( this stupid blogger-editor is not accepting the sizes that it used to...??? )
   ... they are still reliably awful.
   i really need to go through them and edit them down to the best 5% or so...
3. My left foot hurts. It looks OK, but it feels like i may have stepped on a big nut or something...???
4. There is this weird effect that has befallen me several times...
   ( how can i not learn from the first few times...!!! ??? )
   ...and that is that when i get my shorts wet, and then sit for a few hours, my butt develops a huge Owie...!!!
   This latest one has finally drained, but it still hurts when i sit on it.
5. i have another owie on my right hand that may or may not be getting better...???
6. Although it may not look like i've been very active with my blog lately, i've been adding things, and reorganizing page in the 'Alternative Contents' sections...
   Look around in them for new stuff...

   It always looked to me that the pictures looked just like what i would have expected from a steady state universe...?!

What if someone visited the future
and it contained innumerable 'Things' ( transport devices, off path zones, devices... ) that were made up of 'Forms' that the visitor could not see...! His brain, as an infant, was never exposed to these 'shapes' and thus, as an adult, could not see them...!
( tests with kittens seem to bear this out...! )
In the visitors brain, these unusual shapes are processed as 'Regular' forms up to the point where the brain tries to find an example, or previous reference to the 'regular, Non-amorphous, structured form... So that it's not classified as a previously known form, nor does it qualify as a unclassified shape, such as a puddle or cloud... These shapes pass all the tests for 'real shapes' but there just aren't any examples of them for the brain to 'See'...
These shapes would 'fall between' the cracks of things like Cirlces and Squares... Not one, not the other, and not exactly an amalgum of both either...!!!

Experiment to Prove Reincarnation

1. Select a large number of city birds ( people would most likely choose to reincarnate into a bird that is going to live in a familiar environment, IF they chose to reincarnate into a bird at all...!!! ( Some may chose Romatic Birds... But this sampling may prove sufficient ) -- Presumably )
2. Assume that only a small number of these birds are from Humanimal Reincarnations, and that furthermore, the humanimals that they previously came from, were from a 'Western' Civilization.
3. Fabricate a gizmo that will display or present combinations of 2 sets of 2 objects ( 4 objects in all - per trial run ) such that one set is obviously related to one another, such as butter and toast, But in a way that a non-human would not immediately 'see'...
   And the other set would not be obviously related...
   ( Someone very clever may be able to find a link between them, but it would not be 'Obvious' ) -- Such as a Ring of Keys and a Tampon.
4. Assume that only a human mind can discern that the related pair of objects are related.
5. And that the bird can then choose that set, and recieve a small, encouraging reward.
6. If a statistically large number of birds-- OR one or two birds can consistently chose the related pairs, then the simplest explanation is that they are humanimal minds currently inhabiting bird forms.

Recent Biddles...

1. i have a new owie, that is pretty much like my old owie, except that it's smaller, and on my right hand, near my thumb. It had been a even older owie that was slowly making a recovery, but i had to pick at the scab and calloused skin there, and i managed to pull off some fresh skin, and that became infected...!!! Even though i took great pains to smear some 3 in 1 antibacterial salve over it immediately...!!! And now it Hurts way more than my old knee owie and it is spreading along my arm...!!! It has a bandage over it now, and under that, some liquid skin, and i'm not going to even look at it for at least 3 days...!!!
   
2. i was on the bus about a week ago, on my way to Kapolei, and i took my calculator out to fool around with... This Calculator is an HP48gx, the last really nice Calculator that HP made... They have since remade the 48 and come out with a 49, but everyone that has either of these newer versions agree that they are really lame... Especially in production quality...!!! HP used to make calculators that wore like bricks, and now they are turning out the same cheap crap as Texas Instruments and Casio... Gawd Bless their twisted souls, everyone one of them.
   So anyways... i made an amendment to a directory ( file of programs ) and in order to save it to a protected memory card ( that would remain intact if the calculator proper, crashed for some reason, which is rare, but not unheard of... ) i would have to take the card slot cover off, then turn the memory card to read/write... rather than just read... which is safer for the data...! So i opened the card to the calculator, then saved the amended directory, and then the bus turned the corner to Kapolei, and i jumped up and got off, and i forgot to put the card slot cover back on...!!! And it was Lost...!!!
   But i didn't discover this for several days...!!!
   And i had a coniption fit... ( ??? )
   BECAUSE-- Without the cover, the cards might slip out, and if the merged card slipped out ( i have two, one is merged and one is for archives ) and the calculator was turned on, memory would be corrupted...!!! And everything in memory would be lost... which is about 200K or 200 pages of data...!!!
   So i Purged alot of it, in order to Free that card, and convert it to an archive formated card, like the other one... So i lost alot of data, in order to save some of it...!!!
   i cried and cried...!!!
   Then; after i posted my dilemma on the HP newsgroup, someone wrote and told me that Calcpro still offers these -Obsolete- parts...!!!
   So i ordered one, which was 3$ and spent another 6$ for postage...!!!
   But this guy that told me about Calcpro, said that some people think that they're disreputable...!!!
   So stayed tuned to see how that works out...
   
3. It's been raining ALOT over here in Hawai'i lately... for like about 10 days or more...
   Torential Rains...!!! 5_inches in One Hour...!!! ( in some places...!!! )
   It rained really hard where i sleep, last night, but only for about an hour and a half, and i only got slightly damp.

5. March 10th ( Friday )
   i opened my HP48 and saw that my Equilibrium Calibrator was just about off scale for AN EVIL DAY...!!! The graphic displays how good or Evil the day will be by colouring in a portion of a Circle, like a pie slice, and today it was all black except for a tiny sliver on the right side. Left side is Bad, Right Side is Good... So that The Left side was entire filled in, and nearly all of the right side, by way of around the bottom and back towards the top...!!!
   Plus: The Equilibrium Calibrator ( Not it's real name... What would be a good name for this program...??? ) also allows dead people to talk through it, and todays message was:
   "SHITBOOKINDING MIGRA"
   The dead are often very cryptic with their messages, but along with the severe Equilibrium index, this didn't sound good...!!!
   Then: Fortunately ( ??? ) after looking up the Fragments File, which records the numerical amount of the Equilibrium Index, As opposed to the imprecise graphical representation... i saw that it only recorded a value of -6...!!! ...Which for me, is nominal...??? Then i saw that the Calculator was in Radians Mode, which it should not have been, because i don't think in Radians, i think in Degrees...!!! But i do have a program that i downloaded the other day, that draws Spirographical Designs ( Sort of ) and it Changes the Angular Mode to Radians... So that seems to explain that...!!!
   Case Solved.
   
6. i Sewed up some loose spots on my backpack...
   The left shoulder strap was coming loose, so i sewed and over sewed that down with orange and green thread... i like to use contrasting thread ( over black ) so i'll have a better idea of what i tried 'before'... so when that fails, i'll try sewing someplace different...
   This approach worked with the bad zipper, that i tried fixing twice before i finally took a moment to carefully examine my old sewing patterns that were next to the original sewing patterns, and i discovered that the original sewing was way off....!!! So i pulled the zipper back into it's more or less correct alignment, and sewed that down, and it's been working for 5 months...!!!
   Then i was going to sew some 'Patches' over two holes in the bottom, but i decided that that would be too difficult, considering that they were right next to the waist band, and i would have to sew through that, and it was designed so that it could conceivably come apart, which it would no longer do, if i sewed it all shut...!!! Plus; it would be a real cow to try to sew through that...!!! i already broke one needle sewing the shoulder strap down...!!!
   So instead, i just pulled the edges over one another, pushing the holes into dimples, then sewed the far rims together...
   We'll see how that holds up.
   
7. i've been looking for several months now for a novelty pencil that is like "an ordinary pencil with a lead in it..." ( NOT a Mechanical Pencil...!!! ) ...Except that this Pencil has 4 or 6! different coloured leads combined in the slot normally reserved for just one...!!!
   i've seen these in a couple of different forms... But i've never bought them for myself...!!!
   i think someone sent me some, then i found one, then found another...!!!
   And Now-- i've lost all the ones that i used to have, so i've been trying to find someplace to buy another...
   And i Can Not...!!!
   Actually: i did find a place on the Internet that sells 'Chartpak Magic Fx - Crazy Chromatic Coloring Pencil' But all the recommended stores Do Not Carry them...!!! So i may have to order ONE Pencil from this place...!!!

8. i found a new pacifer the other day, but it doesn't have the perfered handling ring that i would like...???
   Why are the gawds providing me with new pacifers, but not the kind i like...???
   
9. i was over at Foodland the other day, and i bought a can of Beefaroni Spaghetti, a pastry and a can of soda... And they charged me $3.59 for JUST THE SODA...!!!
   So i says to the checkout girl... "Is that right...?"
   ...and she gets this really scary zombie look on her face, and then stares of into space for the longest time, and finally regains conscousness, to say; "Yes."
   So then i went over to the soda counter area, but it is such a harum-scarum mass of clutter that i quickly give up and walk over to The Service Counter, where the manager just Completely Ignores me for like 2 hours...!!! But finally i get his attention and he carefully explains to me that what happened was that this particular brand of soda is not sold individually, only by the 6 pack, which is $3.59...!!!
   ( i found it by itself, so i speculated that 'someone else' broke up a 6 pack...!!! )
   But all during this time, he doesn't seem even remotely interested in 'Straightening It Out...!!!'
   So i just left. Highly Disgruntled.
   And Then...???...!!!...he runs out of the store and calls after me, and suggests that i come back and Straighten it out...??? But i was so frazzled already that i just left.
   And i fully intended to NEVER GO THERE AGAIN...!!!
   But the very next day, i went there again.
   The thing is-- They OFTEN UNDERCHARGE me for pastries...
   and sometimes i don't notice it until i've left the store,
   and sometimes i kind of notice it right away...
   But they Do It ALOT...!!!
   So i don't know what to make of that...!!!
   [ This is the same store that once Short Changed me $8...!!! ]

   And the ones most frequently excluded are the foreign ones that i really need help with...!!!
3. It has a special section, that it way too small, for Symbols, but there are not only too few of them listed, the graphical representation of them is too small...
   Absurdly so.
4. Although i have a Duacell Ultra Battery in it,
   and it's apparently a long way from actually being dead,
   The Dictionary keeps 'Resetting' itself...
5. And when it does reset;
   The Font is reduced to Its smallest size,
   And The Word of The Day is turned off...!!!

   All words are assigned points on how long they are;

The most curious thing about that was that although every effort was made to make their presentation professional looking, The images themselves were of the crassest, unimaginative, unartistic poses imaginable... Plus; The simple quality of the images made them appear as if their were photographed off an old 12_inch Television set with a cheap Polaroid camera...???
The other very curious thing about those DVD's
Is that this is the SECOND Time i've found Porno DVD's in that particular garbage can,
which in located on the top parking lot level of The Ala Moana Shopping Center...???

i was listening to NPR the other day, and they had a 'Commenary' on by Daniel Shore--
i haven't trusted him since the Clinton Impeach hearings when he said... Something- i forget what now...
But i think it was mean-spirited towards the Republicans, and so mean-spirited and disingenuous that i decided that he must be senile or somesuch whatnot...!!! ( he is REALLY OLD now...!!! )
So the other day; he was ranting about Free Speech or something like that...??? And the topic of Tiananmen Square came up... ( out of the blue ) ...and he was saying how Google was CENSORING it's content, because when he did a search for Tiananmen Square-- All he got was a polite Tourist Information spread of pictures... And nothing about The Massacre that took place in 1989...!!!
( at first i thought that he 'meant' Yahoo... But they have nice coverage of it too...??? )
[ Apparently -- ( Note from the future ) --He meant that it's been Censored IN CHINA...
But he didn't say that, or even Imply it...???!!! ]
Needless to say; No Such Self Censorship is taking place... He just made that up...!!!
How can i Not Trust NPR anymore...!!!
Plus; They did that to me a few days ago, when they suggested that The October Surprise never took place...!!! ( They never even mentioned it when talking about the Release of the Iranian Hostages...! )

i was on the bus the other day, on my way to bed, and this 'kid' sits down beside me and starts pushing this book... Which he hasn't even read yet...!!! ...called; The Celestine Prophecy
And he's going on and on about this, and he so frazzles me that when it's time for me to get up, he won't move out of the way...!!! He's being Really Slow about it...!!!
i just about started screaming...!!!
So he finally get up and moves aside, and i jump up and dash off the bus, and almost immediately realize that i've forgotten my HAT...!!!
How can i live for more than 20 seconds without my HAT...!!!
i am more attached to my hat ( which wasn't even a very good hat...!!! ) than Dipsy...!!!
So i am thinking... Well-- the bus is on a loop up the hill, and will be back down in about 15 minutes, so i'll just cross the street, ( actually; i was already sitting at the correct bus stop when i was thinking this...!!! ) and wait for it to come back down...
But i was so tired, and still frazzled... that i just went to bed, and coughed all night; because i also have this weird cough that doesn't seem to be evolving into a real cold...!!!
So the next day, i had to go without a hat for about 5 hours, before i found a replacement along Waikiki.
It is not a Ball Cap-- as i had been getting... But a Gilligan type hat...
It is Army Green, but with Maui in Gold, and some Hawaiian Pictoglyphics, so it looks kind of spicy,
i like it-- even though it is just a tiny bit too small for me...

And that's all it will say; and anyone that thinks that they may be interested in renting out their basement or attic to me, will look up The TAC on the internet, and find out everything important and interesting about me...

Book Reviews:
i FINALLY got around to reading Philip Dick's; Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep.
This was the book that spawned the movie; Blade Runner, that i read somewhere, is Harrison Fords least favorite movie...!!!
At first i thought that the movie had followed the book about as carefully as a Harry Potter adventure; but after a few chapters, it strayed farther and farther into more familiar Dickian religious philosophy and oddness... which they left out of the movie.
Like many movies, if you read the book that it was based on, many things that you saw in the movie, suddenly make alot more sense...!!!
Like the Bleakness of Blade Runner... It's never explained in the movie, but this Replicant stuff ( called simply Androids / and Decker is merely a Bounty Hunter in the book ) happened after a devastating war that killed off virtually the entire animal population on Earth...!!! So that people; that desparately need the companionship of animals, resort to having 'Electric' imitations...! These Electric Animals are simple machines, while the Androids/Replicants are Biological Imitations... And the only way you can tell ( be certain ) that a Replicant isn't human... is to seek it's cooperation in taking a Voight-Kampff test which determines if the subject has the same emphatic responses as you would expect from an emotionally healthy human...???
The book also covers another Dick Theme; Mercerism... Which is a Religion, of sorts, where the participants are allows to mentally bond with a mysterious TV character called Mercer, who is forever trying to climb to the top of a hill, but his enemies keep throwing rocks at him...???
When a rock hits Mercer, everyone that is 'Connected' to him is injured too...!!!
Both the movie and book are actually not terribly concerned with 'Retiring' the escaped Replicants...
But the movie, in this regard, doesn't seem to be concerned with anything, except layering us with eye-candy...!
The book is all about having, or wondering if you have; 'Empathy' for your fellow creatures...???
What is it that defines a human-being as being human?

After that book i checked out another Dick book, called: The Divine Invasion which is pure religious gibberish... Dick is a fine, fine short story writer, and his novels are occasionally brilliant, but when he turns out a pot-boiler, the chickens that should be making up the stock, are nowhere to be tasted...!!!
This book was either taken apart, or put back together, from several short stories, because i kept running across entire chapters that sounded awfully dang familiar...!!!
The story; as such, is sort of about the second comming of christ... Or it may all be a hallucination of the principle protagonist that is frozen solid, awaiting a new spleen...???
It doesn't really make as much sense as you'd like, either way...???

As i look back at my childhood, and wonder why noone was able to see that i had Asperger's...

What is especially annoying about this 'Thing' is that the 'Sketch book' that i sent Marc Calvary was filled with 'experimental' drawings that i'd been fooling around with...
The Experimental part was that i was using a Brush for the Line Ink work...
Which i'd never done before...
Previously; i'd always used Technical Pens or such...
These Drawings were so 'Ill Considered' that i worked both sides of each page...!!!
Plus: i didn't even put 'Boarders' around them...!!!
( i worked right to the edge of each sheet...! )

The 10 Commandments reveal in no uncertain terms that it's forbidden to represent [such] [ gods ] by any carved statue or picture of anything in the heaven above, on the earth below, or in the water below the land... But this is perhaps the most universally ignored commandment of them all... Even more so than the incomprehensible ones regarding coveting... Or; Baring False Witness...
Christians love to split hairs when it comes to 'What is Really Wrong with This...?'

( Baring False Witness for example: Only applies to Testimony given in a Court of Law, and then; Only if you've been Sworn In... and then; Only if you agree with how the prosecution uses various pronouns or adverbs... It Certainly Does NOT apply to gossiping about your neighbors-- who are undoubtly going to hell anyways... seeing as how they go to a different church than you do... and they have the audacity to drive a foreign made car...! )

Any Painting or Statue of Jesus, The Virgin Mary or any of The Saints is So Amazingly in Violation of this Precept that it's genuinely AMAZING that No One 'Gets It'...???
[ The Idea being that you're missing the point when you worship 'A Thing', rather than the idealization of The Thing's Conceptual Basis... -- That is probably too subtle for you too, wasn't it...??? ]

Muslim's on the other hand have taken this stuff very seriously...!
