Puppets fall asleep and dream that they are humans, which fall asleep and dream they are little animals, which fall asleep and dream that they are leaves falling from a tree, which just before they hit the ground, fall asleep and dream they are snowflakes, and as they’re melting, dream that they are gawds being pushed into a pit of burning daemons, and as they burst into flames, awaken as buttons on a sweater, worn by a girl that is about to be buried.
